It has been years since we had been there and it will be “years to never” before we go back. We went for lunch. The spaghetti was burnt (cheese), 1 serving of fried chicken, chicken liver did not look done,….etc. The desserts were a joke; 1 piece of chocolate pie and 3 pieces of another type of pie and that was it. I asked about some egg custard pie and they said this is all they have and they were running behind. It was roughly 12:15 and this is all they had. Then our bill came to $41.14!!! So now we are at the table and the food was not warm, greens nasty, gravy and meats were salty, green beans and broccoli and cheese were sour. If you ever wonder how things are….keep wondering. It was not worth it!

The servers were very nice and polite, and they had several offerings today which was a change from last time, so we enjoyed that. We both chose Baked Spaghetti as our entree, we both found it a bit dry and lacking in Seasoning and meat. I understand you cater to a large population so seasoning can be difficult to please the masses, so that’s understandable, but the noodle to meat ratio was WAY off… very small chunks of meat here and there, more noodles and cheese than anything else. We added our Sautéed mushrooms to our Spaghetti to give it more flavor and depth, and it also helped with the dryness of the dish. I enjoyed my creamed potatoes and greens, they were both warm and seasoned well, but to be honest, those homemade soft rolls they serve were the star of the meal, I was so tempted to buy a half dozen to bring home! All in all a decent visit, could’ve been better, but could have been worse.
Update: Ate there today, the service was much better, they were out of several items, but what we did eat was hot and tasty.
Greenville location has permanently closed.
Not alot of choices, food wasn’t hot, very poor service, i think we’ll stick to our home location of Greenville, much better food, service, and friendly people.

So much, for improvement. Fried potatoes are cold, country steak and rice is luke warm, green beans warm, dinner rolls kinda tough on tops, chicken ranch casserole luke warm and too much ranch dressing. Manager needs to constantly check food temps on serving line. Waste of $33.54.

So I arrived in town with an hour to spare and I’m so excited to get to go to a k&w It had been years since they closed the one in Myrtle Beach near me. So I was in Rocky Mount for a work thing and I get to k&w and it’s Sunday night the last day of November 2025 and apparently they lock the doors an hour early cuz I couldn’t get in. I tried to call no answer. So I just plan to eat dinner the next day here after I finished a work call that I’m in town for. And then the next morning I saw the devastating news that they had closed all locations permanently. Oh how I wish I could have been the last customer and had it one last time before it went away It was a part of my life for so many years I hate to see it gone

Food wasn’t really what u expected. I spent $30 on two plates. The country fried steak looked appealing but wasn’t cooked right. It’s tough. My gf loved the chicken. I thought to myself after eating. I should have went to a food truck ! They need to do something about the Flies. I have to fight them off and try to eat at the same time
