We are a 100% black family owned and operated coffee shop. We are located in the heart of downtown Douglasville right next to Gumbeaux’s. We specialize in specialty coffee drinks as well as regular drip coffee, teas and smoothies. Our food menu consists of sandwiches, soup, salad, as well as muffins, cookies and sweet breads. The house favorites are our Ice Caramel Macchiato, Vanilla Chai Latte and the all day Breakfast Sandwich on croissant!!!! Our motto is to curate great coffee and food and facilitate even greater community conversation…Free WiFi and spacious indoor seating.

This cafe feels like stepping into New Orleans. There is a large nod to black culture and excellence with a book wall dedicated to authors and artists of color. The coffee and pastries were good and this place has a large sitting room. 9/10 recommend and Steph approved!

Kuumba Coffee in Douglasville is a gem! I ordered the Peach Cobbler Latte and the Turkey Avocado Breakfast Sandwich, both were absolutely delicious and made fresh. My husband had the Iced Ginger Lemon Tea along with the same sandwich, and he loved it just as much as I did.
The service was great, friendly, and welcoming. The staff made our visit extra special with their warm hospitality. Will definitely be back soon. ♥️

Every time I come in it’s a friendly family environment welcoming and genuine. A great place to study, do work, write or just chill and sip some great coffee options. Will recommend 10/10 EVERY TIME!!! Even had my very first shot of espresso here.

my experience here at Kuumba Coffee was amazing. the atmosphere is so clean, welcoming, and relaxing. they play music, softly which was a vibe. my sister and i were able to bible study as we ate out breakfast. we both ordered the breakfast sandwich (mine on a bagel) and it was pretty good. i tried the lavender vanilla latte and it was BOMB! i’ve never had a lavender drink so it definitely did its duty. the drink was so smooth and tasty. 10/10 definitely recommend. *it’s also black-owned!!!*

It was inside of a office building-like (supposedly 100 year old) in a suite.
Very unique, in a good way.
Ordered a coffee and a sandwich.
Took them 20 mins. There was only 1 customer ahead of me.
Looks like they also ordered food so I thought it took longer because they prepared everything from scratch but NOPE! It was store bought patties which was all dried up. I think it was leftover from day before and it was microwaved. That turkey Patti could not have been made right then.
Anyways, food was so yucky I wanted to vomit. But at least the staffs were sweet, coffee was great, the atmosphere was unique and cozy.
Just definitely DO NOT ORDER FOOD.

A hidden gem in Douglasville! This place is adorable and perfect for breakfast or lunch 🙂 The London Fog with lavender was PERFECT and my niece and nephew enjoyed the muffins and smoothies! My sister and I had the chicken salad sandwich and the breakfast sandwich and they were absolutely amazing. The owners and workers are kind and lovely and I look forward to visiting again!

such a amazing and cozy place! me and my boyfriend felt so welcomed and were helped by Jalil as it was our first time there. the vibes are amazing & the music ties everything together. definitely a great place for studying or just relaxing. i recommend the lavender vanilla latte. 100/10 experience, we will be back!! 🙂

Five star all around! First time here and it was so great. The cafe is so spacious and welcoming. The perfect atmosphere to hang out, work or read a book. The staff was great too! The coffee was definitely the best part I got the Salted Carmel Toffee Nut Latte and my fiancé ordered the Caramel Apple Butter Latte. Both were very delicious! This place is definitely a hidden gem in downtown Douglasville ❤️

LOVE THIS PLACE! The whole building is blacked owned! I visited here on my way out of Georgia and so glad I did! For one I had the best danish I have ever had. I got a salted caramel latte that was perfect! I love the art throughout this place! If you work from home, this shop is great for you to work and switch up your atmosphere! There is a gourmet popcorn shop right across the hall as well. I saw in the reviews that Kummba has a good chicken salad sandwich and zucchini bread. I came in hoping to try but getting there at noon – they were already cleared out! YOU KNOW YO CHICKEN SALAD GOOD WHEN YOU GOT FOLKS BUYING AND SELLING OUT FOR BREAKFAST! can’t wait to come back and try! And if it is anything like this danish… I know the other delights are BUSSIN! Delicious! Outstanding! What a wonderful way to start my day!! The service is friendly and helpful. I had a peach cobbler latte with out milk and it had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. I also had the croissant breakfast sandwich with vegan egg, sausage and cheese. It was sooo good and satisfying. And the atmosphere is a whole vibe definitely a great place to come get some work done and just chill and relax. This was my first time here but I can’t wait to be a regular.
