Their omelet rice was fantastic, 100% recommend it, the egg was perfectly cooked, the gravy sauce they have is packed with flavor, was finished eating it before I knew what had happened.
Service was great by an attentive young lady with curly hair, though she was serving by herself she still managed to be quite attentive.
Atmosphere is simple and well refined and super clean!
Definitely going back!
The only star I deducted was for the atmosphere because the seating is limited and most of their tables are quite ‘cozy’. However, the restaurant is beautiful and the service was impeccable.
Recommended, we will definitely be back, but not until they have a liquor menu.
TUCK! POKE! Eek!: Not too spicy, but it does have a kick in the back end of taste. Seems like Henry used rice syrup (쌀조청, 올리고당) to bring out the sweetness rather than using white sugar (sauce looks more glazed and shiny rather than looking more matte). TUCK POKE EEK was absolutely tasty. Just right amount of sweetness and spiciness. Julienned fish cake with tuck poke eek sauce was a delight.
Chicken breast cutlet: no staled and over used oil taste. All the juice was locked in and it was moisty. Taste and texture was as good as brined or sous vide, that is how juicy and moist it was!!!!! Kimchi was definitely home made. Miso soup was flavourful, two different salt and wasabi was offered, as well as pickled cucumber and radish.
Pork loin + Pork tenderloin: aged to bring out the taste of pork. As mentioned in above, both loin and tenderloin were tender and moisture retention was one of the best I have had.
If Henrys’ restaurant was in Toronto, I would have visited on weekly basis. DELTA BC (Tsawwassen Commons) YOU ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HENRY IN YOUR AREA!!!!
I ordered the Bulgogi Omelet, and I was truly impressed. The egg was beautifully crafted into a delicate, elegant shape — almost too pretty to eat. The sauce had a light, smooth flavor that paired perfectly with the rice, making every bite harmonious and satisfying.
The pork cutlet was exceptionally tender and juicy, with a crispy golden crust that made it absolutely perfect. It complemented the rest of the meal wonderfully and left me completely satisfied.
From presentation to flavor, this was one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had recently. I can confidently say KUTLET deserves a perfect 5 out of 5!
What really stood out was how family-friendly the restaurant is. They provided crayons, a kids’ plate, and even a special cup for our little one, which made dining with a toddler so much easier and more enjoyable.
It’s a bit of a drive from where we are, but honestly, it’s worth the trip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tasty Korean food in a welcoming atmosphere!
The wings were another highlight—a huge serving and absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend paying the extra for the sweet gravy; it made both the tenderloin and wings even better. The gravy actually reminded us of Dae Ji in the best way.
The only downside was the cabbage coleslaw—it was a bit too heavily dressed and ended up wilted….
Service was great even though it got pretty busy. There was only one server, who was really pleasant (and gave us Kristen Wiig vibes haha) and managed everything smoothly. The space itself is clean, with a modern, neutral Asian aesthetic and enough seating for about 20–30 people.
We’ll definitely be back soon! Though our favorite for katsu is still Saku (yes it’s Japanese v this one which is Korean fusion..we love their unlimited rice, coleslaw, and soup), Kutlet is a fantastic addition to the Tswassen area
