Kutir is a fantastic new restaurant on the ave! First of all the ambiance is amazing, it’s absolutely beautiful in there. Vibrant colors, and unique tiles and decorations, but still very comfortable and spacious for a little place. The customer service was great too. We came in at the very tail end of their lunch service and instead of being rushed like a lot of places would, the owner was incredibly attentive and accommodating. Very kind people, family oriented, and really cares about customer feedback. Now for the food, it was delicious! Our favorites were the shrimp black pepper, the pakora kadhi because the sauce was so yummy and the perfect spice level, and the lamb rogan josh was tender and had such deep flavors. Special shout out for the garlic naan and fan favorite was the lemon rice that came with the shrimp. Finished with the kulfi tiramisu, which was cool and refreshing and not too sweet. Overall this place is great. It’s not pricey in my opinion, huge menu, kind people and great service. But my favorite is really just how gorgeous this place is!

Absolutely delightful dinner with creative and DELICIOUS offerings. The pear ginger martini delicious and the selection of appetizers we had couldn’t have been better. Came to celebrate a birthday and we all agreed the best meal we have had in a very long time. Run don’t walk !!

Had dinner here with friends and loved the lively energy. The interior is stunning, and the décor clearly has a lot of care put into it, we kept admiring the space throughout the night!
We ordered the Garlic Naan, Rogan Josh, Shrimp Biryani, Butter Chicken and the Lamb Kebab from the grill menu. Everything was so delicious, well seasoned, and the portions were great. We all even took some food home from each dish! The stand out star was definitely the kebab, I can’t recommend ordering an item from the grill menu enough.
We also enjoyed the kulfi tiramisu from the dessert menu which was a lovely Italian Indian fusion dessert.
The staff were all friendly and attentive! I will definitely be returning soon to try even more of their menu.

The menu is small, but not many Indian restaurants can match this place. The food is that good. The paneer was incredibly soft and fresh—some of the best I’ve had. The only place I’ve had better is Dhamaka, and that’s saying a lot. I’ll definitely be coming back and might just try every dish on the menu.

We had dinner here and it was amazing. The lamb chops were incredible and a massive explosion of flavor with every bite. We also had the goat biryani which was super flavorful and the goat itself was so tender. Service was very attentive and helpful. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

By far, the best Indian food around! Everywhere else now pales in comparison. Authentically delicious dishes and flavors in the most beautiful atmosphere. Sleek and elegant designs surround you. This place is both warm and inviting!
Their Biryani is off the charts, arriving looking like a pie, using naan as their dish topper, keeping in all the aromatic flavor! Just outstanding! Every dish was outstanding!
Superior staff! Attentive and knowledgeable to help you navigate the menu, and even customize your own dishes!
This “new kid in town” is destined to be the best around! No doubt! Highly recommended and can’t wait to return and try more!

Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever patronized. Went there to have the fish lunch special. The pretentious waiter frowned when I said I wanted the lunch special and then informed me that it is for take out only but he would make an exception and let me sit down. So nice of him. The fish had THREE tiny cubes in a sauce, rice, naan, and a small lentil paste. I was shocked by the portion size. Charged 19USD. When I asked him about the fish portion, he responded, “it’s a lunch special,” as if one if to expect next to nothing for 20 dollars. Terrible, terrible restaurant. They just want to charge you money without actually giving you a decent meal. I got robbed 20USD there just to have a proper lunch at Ginban next door a few minutes later. The best thing you can do is what you see in my photo: just tear the menu in half and go to a great Indian restaurant like India Avenue in Greenwich, where the portions are generous and the food is a million times better.

The staff is amazing. Ashutosh is an incredible manager – we had a party of 25 and he made us feel right at home. The food lives up to the quality of the staff, the mango soup sounded questionable but was absolutely delicious and I hoarded it.
