Outstanding service and delicious food. It was our first time trying Kusina and the staff ensured we had a great experience. Eric gave us samples to try, made recommendations and explained the menu. The food is very flavorful and there are various options to choose from. I recommend the pancit, the pork menudo, the lumpias and the tapioca jackfruit sald as dessert. The place is very clean and very well kept. We will definitely go back.

Authentic and delicious Filipino cuisine. Friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere make a perfect breakfast or lunch spot. The attached market seems to be getting some remodeling at the moment so they have a small selection of goods but they have all the necessities for making ethnic Filipino food at home. I will be back to try more menu items next time!

I really enjoyed the fried rolls and the noodles! The meat is very good as well but for me the sauce became overwhelming after a while.
It’s a nice place to try and I’m excited to go back!

Pancit and lumpia are very, very delicious. I also had their bistek and it was good, tender meat. The sauce it was in was a bit too salty for me but overall, .

I love the desert/ice cream they serve here, it’s called Halo-halo it’s amazing, it has like multiple different kind of desserts and sweets into one cup.
For lunch my favorite meat is lechón kawali, get it if they have it.
I also enjoy their bread/dessert called Put0( yes I know), it’s delicious.
Overall I would recommend the Filipino food from here.

New place for me, came in out of town and was feigning some Philippine food and found this on the maps. Had one of the higher reviews. Ordered the two choice combo meal and a soda. I chose the chicken adobo, beaf caldereta with pancit and an order of lumpias. The food was good and it hit the spot for what it was. Be aware that it is a cafeteria style serving so food is already made and depending on what time you get there and how long the food has been in the serving tray will depend on the freshness and how dry or not the food will be. The flavor was on par and it all tasted good. I do wish it was made to order but I picked the place knowing what to expect. The service was really good and curious. Atmosphere was typical and Philippine music played on the TV. Over all a good experience and would come back just would try and figure out when more or less the food is at its freshest to give a better reading of the food. Again don’t get me wrong it still was all very good just would prefer made to order but that is all on me. Great little place a bit out the way from the main hustle of the town.

A great Filipino restaurant here in McAllen, Texas. A lot of food selections – from main dishes to desserts. A great place for people who don’t have time to cook or just want to enjoy the day without having to worry what to prepare for meals. Very convenient for dine-in or to go orders. The food is not always warm, though. I wish they could keep them warm enough while the food is sitting in their trays. Also would be great if the restaurant would not use anymore disposables, or at least paper plates. Would be nice if it becomes environment friendly. This restaurant also caters. It also has a big store at the rear part of the restaurant. It has enough parking spaces during a busy day
