This family owned and operated restaurant offers a good selection of traditional Indian dishes. The hostess/manager was welcoming and answered all of my questions.
They have a lunchtime buffet or you can order from the many choices on the menu. This was my first time here so I chose the buffet for variety. Next time I will order specific items from the menu. I’m a big fan of curried goat.
The buffet did not disappoint. The hot foods were hot and the cool foods were cool. Proper temperature is important.
The chicken vindaloo and chicken tika masala were textbook deliciousness. Everything was quite good.
Their naan was fresh and hot. It was perhaps the best I’ve had being light, thin and a little crispy in spots, but not burnt, so it wasn’t just tasty but added a little texture enjoyment as well.
Looking forward to a return trip!

Absolutely fantastic Indian food! Everything we ordered was full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly spiced. The curry was rich and comforting, the rice was fluffy, and the naan was warm and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. I would definitely recommend this place and will 100% be coming back.

My husband and I have been coming here for the lunch buffet for years. Food is always solid…flavorful without being overly spiced or salty. We also love the fact they bring a basket of hot fresh naan to every table. The restaurant itself is very clean and service is friendly and attentive. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!

My family and I love indian food and have tried many indian places and Kurry Walah is still our all time favorite. We have been going here for years and will continue to. The food is amazing. Everything is always so warm and fresh and the fresh naan they give you is just amazing. Not only is the food perfect but the water is just so amazing there for some reason. We always talk about how cold and crisp the water is and how everything is literally just perfect about this place. Oh yeah and don’t forget the dessert. The gulab jamun and kier they serve there is just perfect. Perfection is all I can say about this place.

I’ll start by saying I’ve only been here once (so far), but plan on coming here more often. I ordered chicken vindaloo & roti to go. The order was ready when estimated. The food was very good, and for better or worse depending on your preferences, very “Americanized;” chicken breast chunks, no whole spices in the sauce, and pretty tame for a vindaloo. I like dark meat, don’t mind bones & cartilage, I’m one of those weirdos that likes to sweat from my eyeballs it’s so spicy, and what’s a good vindaloo without playing Goan roulette and potentially biting into a clove or cardamom pod? lol I figure it’s worth noting all that, though, as it’s a good middle ground between being a flavorless chain-restaurant with no character, but still being very enjoyable.

Fantastic dinner. The dining room’s a little stark and bright with fluorescent lights but the food is fantastic. The lamb is so tender. We had the combination and it was all fantastic but the lamb was super tender. The spice levels we’re excellent ‼️ highly recommend. Service was superb!

first time in this place and the manager owner took my order third time eating Indian food he suggested lamb curry and chicken thighs for my pomeranian the place was great but couldn’t eat inside so we took it to go the lamb curry spicy was great with some steam rice and bread for sure next time am round Houston area I’ll make a quick stop for new experienceand try new Indian dishes

Wow! So impressed. Nice atmosphere, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Took the time to teach me some things, answered all my questions and made excellent recommendations based on my preferences. The food was phenomenal. I should have ordered everything a little spicier, but thought I would be cautious as it’s my first visit. Naan was crispy and soft in all the right ways. Highly recommend!!!
