I recently dined at Kurrys Restaurant in Troy and wanted to share my experience. We started with the chicken lollipop, and I highly recommend asking for it wet—it was absolutely delicious. However, the goat biriyani was just okay, as the rice was disappointingly soggy. We had high hopes for the chicken koththu, but it fell short somehow; it lacked that special something. Unfortunately, the restrooms were dirty and unpleasant. The staff seemed busy and didn’t pay much attention, which is understandable given the number of takeout orders they had.

Been here quite a few times but reviewing it for the first! Ordered Methi Chaman, Garlic Naan, Chicken Lollipop Dry and Thalapakatti Chicken Biryani! Everything was perfect! Based on my past experiences, not all dishes are 5 star worth but you will be satisfied more often than not. Definitely my goto Indian restaurant in Metro Detroit.

I have to mention that I enjoyed every bite of my meal at Kurry’s at Troy. The food is always rich, tasty, and excellent, and no matter what I order, I am always satisfied. The assortedchicken kebab is my personal favorite, and the weekly specials are a must-try. Furthermore, the staff is excellent at describing anything on the menu and is always pleasant, and the ambiance is very inviting. I can’t wait to explore more of their food.
