Located on Baker st, downtown Nelson BC.
Excellent sushi and ramen. Can’t make reservations, small place with 4 tables 16 seats, but lots of take out.

I don’t oft go out to sushi restaurants these days, low carb diet and all, but I went here to try their burger month burger and it was REALLY good. The bun was made of brown rice, chicken burger, teriyaki sauce, Asian slaw. Super good. Good service, food came fast and hot!

Visited during burger month and throughly enjoyed their Japanese cuisine twist on a burger. The brown rice burger was a great combination of flavors and everything was wonderfully presented.

If you’re in Nelson, you NEED to go here for authentic, fresh, and delicious sushi. Don’t bother with the other spots in town – they didn’t even compare

I love this restaurant! It’s the best place to get sushi in Nelson. The staff are very nice and the food comes quite fast most of the time. Seating is a little limited but there are usually empty tables to find a seat at. They always have ice cold water that is self-serve, and their food is amazing. I’ve also tried many seaweed salads before and they tasted really fishy and were just bad, but their seaweed salad is amazing. Fish is also always very soft and melts in your mouth. Amazing quality, service and food, 10/10 recommend.

This is a great sushi spot. I enjoyed the miso soup, several vegan rolls and Inari. Everything was fresh and delicious. The yam was perfectly cooked and tasty. The atmosphere is chill with nice music, beautiful slab wood tables and graffiti wall art. The owner Taka was pleasant and cordial. I bought some of their homemade Miso and used it in sauces and soups at home. Delicious! I look forward to my next visit!

Best sushi in the Kootenays!! The fish is so fresh, well sourced and wild caught. The price is also great. My favourite is the tuna belly nigiri

Disappointed. I travel the province and eat sushi 2-3 times a week. The portions here are very, very minimal, bordering on stingy.
Nelson is fortunate to have a plethora of excellent restaurants. The competition is too great to get away with this level of portioning for very long.
