This is my go-to place for a quick sushi/sashimi fix.

As soon as you sit down, a cute robot will bring you water and wasabi. You would either order what you want on the screen or grab something you like from the conveyor belt. For your first time, the kind staff will guide you how things work.

Once you are done, you would just enter your plate to the slots. Every 15 plates entered, you’ll get a bikkura pon prize!

My favorite things to get here are the seared salmon, unagi, crunchy roll, and their takoyaki. I’ve also tried ramen but wasn’t impressed. Sometimes they do special discovery menu which features limited items such as the matcha menu.

I highly recommend downloading their app for an easier way to pay and collect rewards!

I had a wonderful experience at Kura Sushi. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and high quality. Even the wasabi stood out—it truly tasted like it was imported from Japan.

The service was top-notch. It didn’t feel like a self-service restaurant at all, especially with the call server button, which was extremely helpful. Every time we needed assistance, a server came quickly and took care of everything.

Special thanks to Vega—she served us with such kindness and genuine willingness. You could really feel her warm heart and professionalism.

Thank you to the entire Kura team! You made my dining experience truly wonderful.

This was the most fun at a meal I’ve had in a while! The interactive touches made the meal light and playful. Robots bringing you drinks and wasabi, ordering from your own table’s screen and having the conveyer belt delivering your food directly to you. Sliding your plates into the little cubby hole. It was great!

The sushi was fresh, not fishy. There was a nice variety of rolls without feeling overwhelmed by options. And I like that there are several non-raw and non-fish options for anyone’s palette. I will tell you, you’re getting what you pay for. This isn’t 5-star sushi dining. Sometimes we felt the rolls had too much Mayo on them. But that was really our only complaint.

Overall very happy and will come again! I’d recommend downloading the app to make a reservation ahead of time. Even at lunch time, it fills up fast.

We were a party of 2. We ordered 2 soft drinks and shared 15 plates of sushi. After tip and tax our bill was $80. Not cheap, but worth it as a treat for the experience and food.

Our only true gripe was with the “prize” system. After 15 plates, you’re supposed to get a little prize. The iPad chimed and played a cute video (something about their special vinegar?) but a prize never emerged. After we paid we thought it might, but alas, no prize still. We don’t need a plastic Japanese figurine or lanyard, but it’s the principle!

All that to say, for mall food and “fast food” sushi, totally worth a visit!

When I transferred from Texas to Tacoma, I was glad to find out that they have Kura revolving sushi here as well. My family have been here multiple times ever since and have never been disappointed. I love that they introduces new menu, like the umami matcha selections which is a must try and available right now. Sushi is always fresh the service is always great. I love Vega, my family went there recently and as always had great experience, Vega is very accommodating, very attentive and always smiles. We enjoyed the clean place, the food, the service and definitely we will keep on coming back.

Kura’s has decent sushi, but I wish it were more affordable. Most plates are $4.10, but some feel like they should be half that price. For two adults and a child, we had just over 20 plates, and it totaled almost $100, which barely filled us up.

The experience is cool, especially for those who haven’t tried a Japanese-style sushi restaurant. When we lived in Japan, many places featured conveyor belts, robots delivering food to tables, and electronic menus for ordering—just like here.

However, some aspects need improvement. At the Bellevue location, we had the same issue with their soy sauce bottles. They pour too slowly, and even the waitresses mentioned it used to be a common complaint. Replacing them with faster-pouring bottles would be much better.

Another downside was the restroom situation. My son and I had to wait a long time when we first arrived, and later, my wife had to wait over 20 minutes. This was frustrating and detracted from the overall experience.

Although we enjoyed most of the sushi, we’re not sure we’d return because of the high prices alone.

I ate here around 12p on a Wednesday and it was not very busy. There was still about a 25 min wait. The workers there seemed nice, but service was painfully slow. Although I notified them on their system that I wanted a refill on my drink, no one ever came to our table. Maybe they were short staffed? Food was pretty mediocre, but I guess it’s expected for a chain.

The Kura Revolving Sushi chain is solid, and this is the best location in the area. The cuts of fish are good, especially for a low to mid priced sushi restaurant. Service is good and the kitchen is fast. This is a good place to get a fast lunch, and there’s rarely been a wait when I’ve come here. Be mindful that it can get loud – there are sometimes small kids since it’s very family friendly, and the screens used for ordering/payment play videos at intervals.

Dined in yesterday and had exceptional service with the waitstaff–specifically Vega! She was very attentive, kind, and helpful.

Sushi was good. Portions are a little scaled back and prices are up, but that’s everywhere and everything right now. It’s a systematic problem, not a Kura Sushi problem.

Shout-out to soy sauce boy in the review below that needs his soy sauce to come out at a torrent’s pace. Some of ya’ll find just anything to complain about: “…soy sauce bottles pour too slowly. Replacing them with faster-pouring bottles would be much better.” Dang, Jose. You filling up a pool?

This is what happened after my 15months old baby eating fish and chips in Kura… The fish was undercooked still cold frozen, I realized something wrong after his second bites, the server was also shocked and felt sorry, asked if the baby will be okay. However, when the manager showed up, did not apologize and just informed us that they will take the fish and chips off the bill….

Been coming here for months and the nigiri is always delicious. The promotional stuff is very hit or miss but I’m not gonna fault Kura for having questionable flavor combos/profiles when their baseline has so many strong offerings! Whenever we visit, we almost always get Ana as our server. She’s amazing, always friendly, and never fails to make us laugh. 10 out of 10 vibe ✨
