It has been some time since we last visited a Kura and it was a pleasant visit for us. We had a reservation and although we weren’t sat right away, the staff worked with us to get us sorted out as quickly as possible. The food options seemed to have changed quite a bit since our last visit as there were a lot more newer items and a lot of limited release items which our party thought was nifty. It was fun as always to try the different food stuffs available, and if something didn’t look the freshest we know we can just order it on the tv screen. It seemed like there were a lot of limited items that were matcha themed and for us, a lot of them weren’t spectacular, but at least they are trying different things which we liked the idea of. Our favorites were the ones that had a bit of an extra kick from the jalapeño or umami oil. I especially liked the seared Hokkaido octopus as it had a great smoky taste on top the already great texture of the octopus. I think I ate 8 plates of just that. Overall a great fun visit as it usually is at revolving sushi. Looking forward to returning and trying some new stuff next time.

The food was pretty good. Average sushi not anything super amazing but makes sense for the price. It’s an experience with a revolving sushi bar. I like the sesame balls. They had a matcha promotion and it didn’t taste like matcha but the thought of it is very funny. Would recommend as an experience. Need to check in 2 hrs early if you don’t have prior reservation because of walk ins they make you go on an ipad and check in and they give u a time for two hours later

Food quality is consistent rather than transcendent. The fish is clean, portions are modest, and flavors are straightforward. This is not an omakase temple; it’s a place where reliability matters more than surprise. Standouts tend to be the seared nigiri, hand rolls, and seasonal specials, while sides like udon and tempura provide solid anchors. Prices stay reasonable, which reinforces the sense that the value lies in breadth and accessibility rather than indulgence.
The playful incentive system—returning plates to earn capsule prizes—adds a behavioral nudge that’s hard to ignore. It’s lighthearted, a bit silly, and effective in keeping the experience upbeat, especially for groups or families.

Came here and was pleasantly surprised with the new renovation! It’s truly so beautiful. It was very much needed. Staff was so attentive and friendly. Love how everyone says “welcome back” when asked if we’ve been here before. Food was good, service was fast and atmosphere was 10/10! Yes, this store is very small. Staff is doing the best they can with the space they have. Not sure why people complain on here knowing it’s the mall and super small, specially on the weekends. Wait times can be up to 2 hrs so make a reso to secure your spot! Definitely recommend coming early during the week to be sat right away if you can.

My first time at a revolving sushi bar, the biggest thing I can tell you is to RESERVE. There’s not a lot of these types of restaurants around and it gets packed and busy! Worth it?? Yes 100%, the concept is so fun and it keeps things coming, in my opinion if you want more fresh sushi just order instead of grabbing from the trays, yet everything tasted great and honestly for a good price all together. But I would recommend to experience it all. I love how the inside of the spot looks with all the conveyer belts reaching to each table, definitely a fun experience to try!

Food was enjoyable, but not like restaurant quality. At the price point it’s a great deal and a fun experience.
Remember to check in reservation early because they do by 2 hour blocks

The conveyor belt is the obvious star. Plates circulate steadily, labeled clearly, inviting low-risk exploration. You can sample broadly without the social pressure of flagging down a server or committing to a full roll. For items you want fresh—or that never make the belt—the tablet ordering system is fast and precise, delivering dishes via a dedicated express lane. The whole setup feels closer to a well-designed lab protocol than a traditional restaurant, and that’s a compliment.

My sons like Kura so much. It was fun to watch each dish passed around and pick whatever they want by themselves. And get the little toy when they eat 15 dishes. The whole experience was fun.
