rolls i’d recommend
– tiger roll
– spicy tuna crunchy roll
– crispy rice w/ tuna
– crunchy roll
– kura roll
all of these rolls had incredible spice, crunch and flavor.
i’ll be honest that some of the rolls looked a bit dry (wagyu i’m looking at you) or questionable rolling by, so some things I didn’t get a chance to try, but everything I did try was delicious.
i’m a sucker for plum wine and the choya shot was fantastic. a sweet but fierce punch to my tastebuds!
the working waiters were kind and helpful, but it was a mostly automated experience from the ordering screen to the delivery robot. it creates a mostly private eating experience which can be ideal.
I definitely recommend clearing an afternoon and going here hungry (and when you’re in the mood to be potentially overstimulated).
8.5/10!
I can never get enough when I am there, and whenever I am with family I always recommend them to come or I go with them. The lighting is nice, the atmosphere is great. I love when they decorate according to the events happening, and they are always adorable and beautiful and the sushi they have dedicated to the events.
The Servers/Waiters are great, and lovely all the time, they are always nice and willing to help and explain any questions or concerns (shoutout to their halloween costumes they all looked great).
If you have never had sushi, this is an amazing place to start, and whenever you do, you won’t get enough.. and then sign up for the rewards program while you’re at it.
My first time here at this unique to Tampa sushi concept. It is fun to try it once.
The good thing is that there is not a food order minimum.
It is a different way to order and eat: a revolving tray of sushi sides, and an order touch screen at your table.
They have beer and wine and baking.
The lighting is extremely bright white bright lights so you can definitely see the revolving food line and your table.
Reminiscent of food court or fast food place mood. Not romantic or comforting.
It must be doing well enough to survive, somehow
I saw mostly Asians eating here so either it is good food or this is what they are used to in Asia.
However, as an American, this is not my idea of a nice time out. Maybe good for for people in a rush or with kids. Idk.
This is my last time here.
I hope it survives for a while.
The waitress was excellent, showing me how the whole idd system works.
Our second visit wasn’t great, but we decided to give the restaurant another chance, hoping it was just an off day. Sadly, this last experience was awful.
The conveyor belt was almost always empty, which completely defeats the purpose of a belt sushi restaurant. We waited, hoping it would improve, but nothing changed. We had to ordered some food from the computer. We didn’t want to leave.
I politely informed a couple of servers about the empty belt, and they responded that it is a rash time now (01/24 Saturday 5-6pm), but no action was taken. There was no effort to restock the belt or offer alternatives.
The lack of urgency, service, and overall experience was extremely disappointing. Cose we are really like this belt concept.
We really wanted to like this place, but after three visits and a steadily declining experience, we won’t be returning.
Unfortunately the last two times were disappointing. Plates aren’t not clean, actually kinda gross. Please fix this issue. Will include photos ******
Almost every plate is under $5, you can try many different types of sushi with committing to a giant roll. They offer some sauce options and my favorite are their salmons and scallops but they’re all worth trying at least once
Their tempura soft shell crab is delicious too!
