We went the second day it opened. I was worried about the wait time and took the advice of another reviewer to use their app. It worked out wonderfully. It was an 1.5 wait and by the time we got there, the host seated us right away. The food was lovely and plenty for us to pick from. When it got busier, Mr. Fresh, the pods, where getting empty.

A very Japanese experience… better yet – Japan experience. They’ve been using the conveyor belt method for eons very successfully and its about time we’re getting them stateside! Cool look, feel and flavor – didn’t have a plate we didst like… just a couple we didn’t like as much as others! Highly recommended – sat at counter top; however would’ve preferred the table space better. Staff is helpful, but the robot brings you your drinks! He’s sneaky too… watch he doesn’t scare you when suddenly showing up behind you! You receive and pay by plates – each plate will cost you $3.75 (unless it states otherwise). You receive a bonus ‘toy’ for every 15 plates you re-deposit. Hard to explain; but you’ll get it when you go. Very highly recommended.

Their advertising won me over…. was scrolling on twitter when I saw that this new sushi restaurant was opening, and I HAD to try it! Conveyor Belt Sushi?! It’s about TIME this came to the US! I was pleasantly surprised, at how good it was! The sushi was delicious, and the menu options, and belt allow you to try multiple different things at once! It felt like I was stepping into the future! The restaurant was clean, I could pick off anything I wanted from the conveyor belt….. Was a great experience! I’ll definitely be going again!

Super fun concept. Waited 45 minutes for lunch on a weekend which isn’t terrible. Once seated food comes fast (of course, it’s right there as soon as you sit). Surprisingly good quality sushi. Not the best, but better than a lot of places.

Great food and fun atmosphere. The kids loved it. Staff was friendly and funny. It was the first day so it was a long wait but their waitlist system was accurate and I came back just in time to walk right in to my table.

The restaurant opened at 11:30 Friday morning, and we were able to check in at 11:20 by using the iPad by the door. It didn’t take too long for us to sit down and enjoy the food. Food is good. The table is good for 2-4 people, so if you have more people, you might need to split the group.

Visited Kura for the first time ever. Actually, it is my first time visiting a revolving sushi bar in my entire life. The wait time was expected since I can imagine this experience is new to most people. The queue can have an estimated wait time of up to 2 hours.

Staff friendly and they explain to you what to do if you’re a first timer. Most reviews saying that the place is confusing and staff are not attentive, it’s designed to be semi self-serve sushi place. Instructions with pictures are clearly posted on every table. Seafood is fresh, sushi rice is one of the better ones I’ve had compared to regular sushi restaurants. Don’t forget to try the salmon skin with shishito peppers. Price is on par with any good sushi restaurants.
