Dining experience that’s as much fun as it is flavorful. The conveyor belt — or kaiten — glides past tables laden with sushi, small plates, and desserts, all under protective domes. Guests scoop up items as they pass, and special orders (like ramen) are delivered via a separate high-speed belt or by robot servers .

this place is very cute and one of the few good places to eat in the area. it’s pretty reasonably priced and you can get full on just a few plates. they also have a decent amount of options for people who don’t eat fish (like me). the wait time can be super long and the tablet outside can really underestimate how long you’ll have to wait however. to get the best experience, i would try to go when it’s not crowded

I feel like the star rating for this place is not high enough! I am an avid sushi lover, and stumbled into this place for lunch one day while at the mall. Its pretty popular and always has a line out the door but the staff really are doing their best. I always have a great time here, and the revolving sushi is so much fun! And for sushi its really quite affordable and high quality fish. I reccomend the charred scallop with mayo. Its always warm and fresh. My partner takes me here for date nights beacause he knows its my favorite. Its really worth a visit!

Food was cold sometimes and other times nice and hot. Servers were attentive when they needed so I had no problem there. Making orders on the computer and it wasn’t registering so I needed to do it multiply times, it would also crash and restart itself so we had to wait for that before making another order. I enjoyed it more than disliked it. Would I come again? Yes but not my first pick.

My wife, son, and I loved going to Kura. We’ve gone at least 50 times total. However, recently, I had the displeasure of meeting one of your project managers, Chelsea Prior outside the restaurant. If that is how she treats the working class, I hope she doesn’t treat her employees the same way. I’m willing to talk to someone about what happened but until then, I’ll get my sushi elsewhere

This is my second time at this Kura location and I found the quality decreased significantly since my last visit. The fish was very thinly sliced with 2x the rice. My favorite was the seared scallop with Japanese mayo but when requesting “light rice” it seems like they just threw the scallop on top of some rice.

Additionally, there was barely any sushi on the belt. A majority of my plates had to be ordered manually which took away from the experience.

For $3.95 a plate, it was very disappointing.

We ATE A LOT! Great experience and very good price quality ratios. One nigiri is $2.05 which is an incredibly competitive price for actually fresh fish. You can get two nigiri of salmon toro (fatty salmon) for only $4.10! Great atmosphere also with a robot server

My husband and I come here every week, it has already become our tradition. The food is always delicious, fresh and very high quality.
I really like that you can order small portions and try different dishes, it is much more convenient than taking one large one.
We usually come for dinner, but sometimes I come alone for lunch. It is very convenient! When you come alone, you can almost always sit down right away without waiting.
A cozy, stable place where it is always delicious. I recommend it!

So I’ve been to the location in fort Lee and from my memory it was pretty good but just as several others mentioned at this location they cut the sushi incredibly thin which I think is unreasonable considering it’s $4 per plate. At least serve an adequate amount of fish on the sushi. It’s literally paper thin…..definitely won’t be coming back unless they change things here
