I was transported to Asia!
I used to travel to the far east for work and this sushi place took me back there. First of all, the offerings were delicious and I haven’t had sushi this good since I was in Asia. Next, the tablet ordering system, plate return system, and trolley were completely reminiscent of a real Japanese sushi place. I felt like I was in Narita. Finally, with our group of three we were able to eat more than 15 plates together and it triggered the prize dispenser above us. I can’t wait to get home and give my daughter the little charm I got from the most authentic sushi place I’ve ever been to in America.

I came in for a bite to eat around 1:30 on a Thursday. It was relatively quiet, maybe 4-6 tables occupied. The waitress was so kind and walked me through how to order, which turned out to be quite simple. It was a nice lunch and also my first time eating here. I will definitely come back another time. :]

Huge shoutout to Nen for the amazing service! She was so kind, attentive, and truly made our visit special. This was honestly the best service I’ve ever had at Kura Sushi. She helped us a lot with the Sanrio collaboration and was always checking on us, she really made my day.

It is always a delight going here! I have been so many times and even at their busiest I have never had a reason to complain. The wait can be sometimes long but they always give the best service possible (shoutout to Gabe! He was the sweetest and most attentive server my past visit)! The sushi is always fresh and tasty, I cannot recommend any of the tuna or toros enough but truly you cannot go wrong with anything! The cute gachapon is a plus to it all. The real only thing I will ever complain about is that I miss the soy milk donuts and hope it’ll come back someday!

A pretty novel experience for me. The sushi conveyer belt is fun and gives the eater autonomy in choosing when and how much of a certain dish they want. Very entertaining. My only critique is that there should be different price points for different items. It’s interesting that all plates are the same price and the food on the plate can range from a bowl of edamame to a nice fatty piece of salmon sushi. Maybe their ops aren’t set up to charge different amounts for different plates. All in all, the style of dining is simple, fun, and delicious. The incentive of clearing 15 plates for a surprise prize is quite enticing. I would return.
