I had a great experience at Kung Pao Bowl, and it’s one of those places that does the basics right without trying to be something it’s not.
The teriyaki chicken was the standout for me. The chicken was cooked properly, not dry, not rubbery, and the teriyaki sauce had a solid balance of sweet and savory without being overpowering. It actually tasted like it was made to complement the chicken, not drown it. The portion size was generous, filling without feeling sloppy or excessive, which matters if you actually want to enjoy the meal instead of pushing food around the bowl.
The egg rolls were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy on the outside, hot and flavorful on the inside, and not greasy. You can tell when egg rolls have been sitting too long or rushed, and these weren’t. They were fresh, crunchy, and satisfying from the first bite to the last.
The atmosphere deserves credit too. Clean, comfortable, and relaxed. Nothing loud or chaotic, just an easy place to sit down and enjoy your food. It’s casual, but in a good way — the kind of environment where you could grab a quick lunch or sit and actually take your time eating without feeling rushed.
Overall, Kung Pao Bowl delivers solid food, good portions, and a pleasant atmosphere. No gimmicks, no disappointment. If you’re looking for a reliable spot with good teriyaki chicken and well-made egg rolls, this place is worth coming back to.

3-17-25 love coming here! The food never disappoints.
9-27-24 after coming here many of moons I still have nothing but great things to say. They have new items which was ordered tofay…but it was so good I forgot to take pictures… I only snapped 1 of their cream cheese won tons.
As soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly workers. The establishment is clean and vibrant. There was no wait and was instantly helped (it was about 1 hour before they closed). As we waiting I noticed all the nice art that was in the restaurant, great energy and vibe.Everything we ordered came out in the appropriate time. Every dish we had was yummy. I liked their style of walnut shrimp… lightly flavored…not overly sweet…slightly crispy! The hostess, the waiter and the cook checked on us to see if everything was good and refilled out drinks. Over all the experience here was awesome. All the workers there are friendly and awesome!! I hope everyone who comes has a similar experience and or better.

They don’t give me any sauce or any forks or napkins.

I’m not sure why others give it so many stars. The food is only ok. It looks nice, but the flavor is forgettable.

Heard about the place from a friend, didn’t know what to expect to be honest. But I’m very very pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be coming back soon! The service was great and the food, oh my, the food! I loved the Mongolian Trio and the Battered Shrimp. You can tell the food is made at the moment, and portions are quite nice for the price as well. Glad to have found this gem and hope I can come back soon with more friends!

The Kung Pao Chicken has a very odd texture. Kind of mushy. Almost like they boiled a chicken thigh, chopped it into cubes, and then put sauce on it. The Chicken fried rice had good chicken in it, and seemed like white chicken breast meat.

This place has been on my list to revisit for a while. It has been at least a solid 5 years since my first and last meal here; the last time I was here, I ordered a chicken dish and there was a piece of a bone left in my dinner, I bit down on it and cracked my tooth with the filling in it! I have never been back until now. We decided to stop in for a quick bite and see what we’ve been missing, if anything; and to have an objective opinion about the food. Honestly, the Kung Pao Bowl with broccoli and steamed dumplings were just, meh. The taste of their food isn’t bad, but it just never seems to really ‘wow,’ me. Pretty consistent across the board. However, the service is always fast, with very friendly staff. The restaurant is clean and can accommodate a lot of guests. Unfortunately, for me, it will only be, “The place that broke my tooth…”

King Pao Bowl was pretty good! I had a teriyaki beef bowl, which cost 12.50, and it was really yummy! There was a great ratio of rice to meat, and I was very satisfied by the end of my bowl. The meat itself was just slightly crispy, which paired very well with the texture of the slightly sticky and soft rice. There were broccoli and carrots in the bowl as well, which were steamed to be just slightly crispy as well. The Teriyaki sauce was a lot stronger than most I’ve tried, so I had to mix the rice in to be able to taste the meat more, I also added some chilli oil, which really just pushed the meal to the next level. The service was friendly but very absent. We only saw our server at the beginning and end of our meal, with no refills on our drinks. The restaurant itself had a very interesting atmosphere, decorated with several simple paintings on bright green walls. It was definitely a very unique decoration style, but one that wasn’t, personally, something I’d like to be in for too long. The dining areas were comfortable, and it was.no problem getting ready for the wonderful meal. The food was ready relatively quickly, probably less than 15 minutes.
