I called 2 weeks ago to do my order I’ve been coming to this place for years since I moved to Riverdale so that’s been 7 years now ,I called to order a dish called chicken with Chinese vegetables and make it spicy the guy who answered my call said he didn’t understand what I was saying I said it again and he continued telling me he didn’t understand what I was talking about to what I mentioned you guys did change the owners didn’t you he said no she’s still here she’s just not here today I said no she’s not otherwise you would understand what I’m ordering because this is a dish I’ve been buying for years so there’s no way you can’t understand what I’m asking for… I’m not disappointed by the owners been changed because I had went there previously and it was very obvious is not the same owner anymore and I asked but they said no she’s just not here today but her cook is here so I went ahead and still got my wings that day and the food was still good so no problem at all, I was like as long as the food still tastes the same I don’t care who the owner is this is still my spot but after this person making me feel as if I don’t know how to speak or act as if I’m speaking a language he doesn’t understand and continued saying that no he didn’t understand me I can’t come back he was very rude all he had to say was we are not going to continue selling certain dishes and the one you ordered is one of them instead of talking to me the way he did I used to come every 2-3 weeks we’re a family of 6 we would spend $100+ also my siblings parents nieces etc we would all come to this place but I can’t continue giving people my money where they make me feel unwanted

I stopped by Kung Fu Chicken recently and I’ve gotta say — the new owners are fantastic.Super friendly and really putting their heart into the place. The food tastes great… honestly better than I expected.
I’ve seen some of the older reviews, and one thing I noticed is that no one said the food was bad — people were just used to how things were before. Now that there’s a new team running the show, things have definitely leveled up.
If you’re in the area, give them a chance. We’re excited to have them in the community, and they truly deserve the support.

I am big on looking at reviews and I am so glad I listened to yall! I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on my lunch break and I will def be back! I got the 10 piece sweet Thai chili wings with the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was seasoned well and rice was fresh and hot. It’s been a while since I REALLY enjoyed a takeout lunch so this was greatly appreciated! The price point was 15.15 with no drink and I also got Yum Yum sauce which I’m sure cost as well. This was my first time but definitely won’t be my last! I also appreciated how polite the lady was and welcoming A+ service!

I used to go here when I lived in Riverdale. I loved it then, but since the new owners took over. This will be my very last time going there! The food is garbage now!!!!!!!!! Then on top of that, I waited for a long time for my food, even though I left, came back and it still wasn’t ready in the 15 minutes like I was told. And I ordered 2 vegetable spring rolls, but had to wait for them to cook some chicken egg rolls instead. $33 wasted on some food that taste like it came out of a bag! Sorry I think they should leave it up to Chinese people to cook Chinese food.

When I tell you that they have some of the best food and the lady at the front is soooo sweet and nice and makes sure you get what you need I just moved here from Chicago and I’ve only at from them as far as lunch they are my go to I always get chicken & beef lo mein and 6 or 10 pc honey hot wings with fries and honey hot on side to dip my fries in ,I get out my bed and take Uber just to get me some food from them and it’s well worth it and you don’t have to wait long for it! I love them!

I had the sesame chicken weeks ago and it was good and made me want more. When I did come back two more times (once for general chicken , today for more sesame chicken) , unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience. The first visit vs the last two visits the chicken was noticeably different visually and taste wise. It tastes so weird and so inedible. I completely wasted my money. I don’t think I would return , but if possible you should change the chicken back to the original chicken because we can definitely taste the difference .
