Excellent place! Food was very good, excellently priced, came really fast and in a good portion size.
The stir fry has very good! My group got the house special, the chicken and the tomato and eggs all were excellent!
The ambiance is great, the seats comfortable and the staff is very nice and quick! The plates arrived one at a time, but we didn’t have to wait much between the first plans the last one. Although maybe having the food arriving at the same time would be nice for groups.
Overall we had a great experience, this was such a nice find, we just picked our friend from the union station and saw this place was close to the way home!
There’s street parking in front of it, but I think we were lucky to get a spot, however I saw a parking lot right on front of it as well.
I also feel the need to talk about their carry home bags! Not your typical Brown paper bags, it is a high quality, reusable, insulating bag! With such a beautiful design as you can see in one of the uploaded photos!

Highly recommend!

We tried it for the first time and was glad New Haven had another decent Chinese restaurant. The soup dumplings had a bit of a thicker skin, but it tasted good enough. The broth for the ramen was ok. The knife cut noodles were toothy. As for the sauce, it was ok. The broth for the ramen was also ok. It won’t be a repeat for me but we were glad to try it. I think if you’re hankering for some decent Chinese in New Haven, it’s in the mix. We don’t live here but visit a few times per year, so it probably wouldn’t be our top pick to come back.

We had a great time today in Kung Fu Kitchen restaurant. It is very cozy, in a modern design and authentic super tasty food.
Every dish we ordered was something! According to my 11 year old, it was the best Chinese food experience he has ever had. It is good for any occasion. The staff were super friendly and kind. Will definitely come back.

Pork and shrimp wonton soup had a rich broth and tasty wontons. Peach paradise fruit tea was refreshing. Steamed veggie buns were ok, and my partner liked the shrimp stir ramen. Taro puffs were interesting – unique texture. Service was good, staff were friendly. Solid Chinese spot in the area.

The food was pretty good. We tried a variety of dishes. Some shared.
For the soup dumplings, they were good. However they missed the sauce with ginger. Minus points for that.
It wasn’t crazy packed when I was there but yet the service was lacking a bit. We had to have someone from our table get plates for our party of six. We felt the staff wasn’t as attentive.
The atmosphere, overall the restaurant looks beautiful. Spacious. Seemingly clean, no sticky tables.
Overall the meal wasn’t too bad, relatively comparable to other soup dumpling places in Queens, NY.

Kung fu kitchen has incredible dumplings! Good luck finding any better in CT. The xiao long bao has amazing, flavorful broth and is so tasty; something very hard to replicate. I recommend coming here for some great flavors, great service, and a good atmosphere. Their ramen is also top notch, offering flavorful broth and hand-pulled ramen noodles with a peanut chili sauce that packs a punch.

We walked in at 5pm on a Saturday and were able to get seated right away. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and the food was fabulous. I only took one picture of the first thing that came out (scallion pancake with beef), but we tried the soup dumplings, buns, and stir fry noodles with duck. Their desserts were delicious too. I liked that their menu highlighted the plates that are Michelin recommended. Overall, a great experience and I would go back.

Cucumber salad was amazing I would go back just for that. Soup dumplings were okay and the soups were too creamy for my liking. Overall, a 6.5/10. I would probably go back to try a non soup based entree

I had the pork & crab soup dumplings and pan-fried pork dumplings, and both were excellent. I look forward to returning to Kung Fu Kitchen really soon! I’ve been on a quest for soup dumplings in the state of Connecticut, and so far, these are the best I’ve encountered!

The service was excellent and the dining area is nice and spacious. Will definitely come again.

We had heard a lot of hype around Kung Fu Kitchen, so we had to know if it was better than our current favorite for Chinese in CT – and it was!! It’s easy to see why this spot has received Michelin recognition. The hand cut noodles were SO good, with a perfectly thick, chewy texture. The dim sum options were great, and they definitely have the best soup dumplings. I couldn’t get over how good the white chocolate soup dumplings were for dessert! That was my first time ever having something like that, and the combination worked surprisingly well. Our server was attentive and friendly, and while it was a busy lunchtime on a Sunday, we found the dishes came out quickly. Exceptionally clean, even in the bathroom. We already can’t wait to make another visit!
