All their food items are very tasty. We tried a little of everything & everything was excellent. The meat in the BaoBuns was very juicy & tender. The seasonings were just right. Pancakes were very fluffy & tasteful. They were consumed on our way home. They’re that delicious!!!
Our wait was about 10-15min but keep in mind we ordered a fair array of items.

Good baos, the lotus leaf buns w pork belly are delicious! It’s an old sonic turned into a baobao place so you just pull up and can order from the QR code. They’ve been pretty fast the few times I’ve been.

Kung Fu BaoBao in San Antonio is a cool little spot for anyone looking to try something new while still enjoying that fluffy, bao bun goodness.
We ordered the Steamed Beef BaoBao, the Lotus Leaf Bun with pork belly, and the Chinese Savory Pancake. Overall, not a bad selection! Everything had good flavor, though I would’ve preferred the pork belly to have a bit more char and crispiness. The pancakes were solid — definitely recommend adding the egg. The Steamed Beef Buns were the standout — soft, flavorful, and a must-try if it’s your first visit.
All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience. I would’ve liked to see a few chicken options on the menu, but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I have tried all 4 flavors of steam bao buns. They are all good but saucy pork is my favorite. The bao bun is not very big. It is a little less than 3” in diameter and about 1” in height. The inside is not stuffed. The wrapper is very fluffy and soft. I recommend you purchase the 20 pieces Bao Box. That is the best value. You can freeze them and they reheat very well. I put it in the microwave for around 25 seconds. The order process is very simple and easy. They pack and label them separately.

Large portions, authentic, and good pricing! Last time I had something this delicious was in Hawaii!!! Can’t find anything remotely as good anywhere else but here! But it’s so ironic its in an ex sonic drive thru, the bad fast food left and good savory food came in!!!!

I tried Kungfubaobao for to-go, and it was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the bao were super soft and delicious. What impressed me most was how fast they prepared everything — my order was ready much quicker than I expected. The packaging was neat, the food stayed hot, and the service was friendly. Even though it’s to-go only, the quality is just as good as a dine-in restaurant. Highly recommended!

They set up shop in an old sonic lot…very cool because you order off the QR code menu and they bring it out to you’re car.

Very tasty bao! I tried the recommended pork bao and was very impressed. They brought it out so quickly too! Also, it tastes like the chili oil is homemade! If not homemade they are using the good stuff. My only complaint is they close at 3. Wish they were open later. Otherwise, A+
