Above Average – ****
This is a new thai restaurant at the same location of my previous favorite thai cuisine(closed). The price of items is decent. I opted for yellow curry. The quantity was good. Flavor was just ok. I wish they have more chicken instead of that many potatoes. Overall it was an above average experience.

Loved their pineapple fried rice though. It had all the flavors and was tasty.

This place had the most flavorful red curry and fried rice I have ever had. We decided to stop by before we went to the park and were a bit apprehensive as the outside and inside is very meh, visually, but man – so happy we didn’t back out.

The staff were attentive and nice, but the food was a true showcase. When we were leaving, my son made a comment like “sometimes, places that don’t look good, have good food” .

I highly recommend this place and hope it does well so we can visit when we are in the Tulsa area again!

My wife and I went in tonight. Thought we would try it since the other place left.
We started with the fresh spring rolls with shrimp. My wife didn’t care for them because they had noodles in them and she didn’t think the peanut sauce wasn’t as good.
I had the Kumu Thai lo mein with chicken. It had snow peas, carrots, and onions. It had a sweet taste to it which I enjoyed. I had a spice level of three out of five, but it didn’t taste spicy at all
She had the drunken noodles with veggies. It had bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. With a spice level of four. It was pretty spicy. But hers had chicken in it.
She had a big cup of Oolong tea.

My wife, the “Tofu Guru,” described Pad Thai in expressive way that I have never heard her use, “the meal tasted crafted instead of thrown together.” I think that is a gracious complement for a pile of bean sprouts and tofu. Yeah, she liked it! The tofu did look excellent. I tasted. Great, just a little too sweet for me.
Pad Basil was on my plate. No Laarb today. I am not passing up basil and jalapenos. Read the menu description, check the picture. You will want it too. A big plate of vegetables, savory sauce, level 3 heat, and tender beef! It too, tasted as if crafted by a skilled cook.
We started the meal with the Thai Shrimp Rolls. The golden fried crustaceans, each attired in crisp crunchy wonton skin. Served with a nice dipping sauce.
Good meals here. Clean little restaurant with table service. Minimal, but adequate service.

We tried the signature lo mein noodles and curry basil fried rice and both were incredibly good. Nice addition to Tulsa.

From all the Thai spots I’ve tried this is superior! This place has AUTHENTIC drunken noodle. I can not be more happy! Everything we had was delicious. The Beef Pho needed a lot more salt but overall good. The fried rice was delicious authentic as well. I genuinely don’t think there is any other spot better. Coming from Portland OR (they have lots of diverse authentic tasting food) this has truly met the standards . The only complaint would be the tables were a bit sticky on some spots.

Flavorful curries, fried tofu is a nice appetizer. Very satisfying food.

Revised: not sure if their good cook quit or they moved them to their South Tulsa location or what, but this place has totally crashed. Poor service and food. Avoid.

Love, love, love Thai food. I will be back to try some other dishes. I truly appreciated the variety of vegetables in the fried rice and the fresh cucumbers. Spice level 3 was perfect. Also, the rice is enough for 3-4 servings.Crispy tofu was bland, the pieces could use some seasoning. I also didn’t receive the peanut sauce, so that was a bummer. The spring rolls were delicious and were flavorful. They also had mushrooms inside, which was nice. The food was fresh and hot even though I ordered right before closing, and the staff treated me as if I were the first patron of the day. Prices were reasonable. Menu has a nice variety. The restaurant was clean. Will be sure to order Thai tea next time.

I can’t comment on the food at this establishment because the service was so bad I left. When I arrived, there were only a few customers present during the lunch hour. Over a period of more than 7 minutes, there was no wait staff. I rang a bell to get the attention of someone in back. Two men came out and took my order which included an appetizer. When I placed my order, one of the gentlemen repeated it back to me to confirm. About ten minutes after I placed my order, a lady asked if I wanted my order to go. I told her my preference to dine in. I was never offered water nor asked what I wanted to drink. After almost ten more minutes, the female again asked about my order. I never saw the two gentlemen who took my order. I assumed they were in back preparing the food. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I left and travelled south to the “always busy” establishment Thai restaurant where I receive outstanding customer service and the food was good. Kumu should take notes from THAI VILLAGE on 81st and Lewis. If Kumu doesn’t prefer offering customer service owners should consider operating out of a food truck where customer interaction is minimal.

Sincerely,
Lover of good food and GREAT customer service!
