Great portions! The rice alone could serve 2 people. We ordered 2 sushi rolls to share, and with the rice, 3 people were able to eat. The food was fresh and tasted great. I’ll definitely be trying more dishes soon. I’ve tried many different sushi restaurants, and this is by far one of the best! I ordered takeout, and it was ready in about 15–20 minutes.

Tasted 1/2 as good as it looked. Way loaded with crunchies. Dragon roll was not a fave. Fire Tornado was surprisingly ok, not great. Interesting take on a Sushi Dish . Yellowtail was the best of the 6 rolls we ordered… and it tasted old. And the fried rolls… the oil was clearly old and made the taste horrible. We ate some.. and went for food elsewhere. Never going back. I read reviews before going… clearly way above our reality.

Kumo surprised me. From the outside it blends into the plaza, but inside it’s a no-frills, honest local spot that clearly focuses on the food. I had sushi and a hot entree—both were fresh, well-prepared, and came out fast.
What stood out most: the quality seemed to be very good, and prices were reasonable for the quality – given inflation. No over-styled presentation, just solid execution. Service was prompt and efficient, no fluff.
If you’re looking for polished décor or corporate polish, look elsewhere. But if you want legit sushi, dependable hibachi, and an easy lunch or dinner with no hassle—I think Kumo delivers. I like to try new sushi places everywhere I go and this one I will come back to again.

The sushi was really good and fresh. The servers were really kind and quick. We were asked if we needed more drinks when ours were empty. You get a paper to tick off which sushi rolls you want which makes ordering super easy. Would definitely visit again!

Good fresh seafood and the owners were friendly and gave us good recommendations for their specialty items. The fried salmon skins were my favorite appetizer and my date loved the dumplings. We ordered 4 rolls and had to take some home for later. It was alot of food. We will go back here for our sushi again.

Good Japanese food! I had sushi and my friend got the Chicken Teriyaki and we both really enjoyed our food.
reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars:
-the food was really good, but nothing exceptional or something I haven’t had before at any other decent Japanese place
-the ambiance is close to good but not quite, the harsh white lights make it feel like a cheap Chinese place. The decorations are nice but they should get warmer lights to make it feel more cozy.
– only one type of sake
all my gripes are extremely picky things that don’t matter to most people so if you are just looking for a tasty meal that’s not too expensive this is a great place to go!
you’ll spend between 10-20 per person unless you are getting drinks which will bring it closer to 35 per person or more if you are an alcoholic.

The whole plaza area where this place is located has great restaurants, this location is no different. Love the coziness of the location and the friendly staff. I had the Udon noodles and they were great, loved the broth and my wife had the Tempura which was also good. This place is preety small just an FYI.

Mehhhh. Flavorless. If you’re in a pinch for sushi get the ones that have sauce on it. Rice and avocado was hard. Alders or thailicious27 in the same mall deserve your money. Here not so much.
