We have been here a number of times and I believe they have improved a lot based on our last visit. The hibachi was so good especially the seafood combos with scallops and salmon. Should have ordered filet mignon instead of the regular steak as some cuts were gooey hard. The pork katsu was the best my kids have tasted according to them. Crispy fresh on the outside and soft and juicy inside. The fried ice cream too was the best!

First time trying, fair prices and good sushi deals. Got the broccoli in garlic sauce and it was just brocoli and jarlic tasted pretty terrible but the sushi made up for it. My friend and I had a great dinner but our waitress seemed to be annoyed with us. And then once we were ready to pay and tip the check took forever to come. So we were talking and once it came we kept talking for maybe 5 more minutes before our waitress begins looking straight at us in a creepy way I immediately told my friend thats our queue to leave but I was quite surprised since the restaurant has maybe two other tables, empty for the most part and she was death staring us AFTER we tipped 18%. Which we were being generous. I liked it but will not be coming back.

**Edited to reply back to owners comment on my original review, which is completely unacceptable – IT WAS NOT BUSY AT ALL. There was ONE party leaving the first hibachi station when we arrived. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE ROOM. The lady seating asked if we wanted to sit at the first station or the second. I responded “whatever is easier for you”. She SAT US AT THE 2ND HIBACHI STATION. I personally told the chef that the flavor was VERY OFF and specifically told him that taco seasoning does not belong on Hibachi food. I ate 2 bites of my meal and THREW IT UP in the bathroom. As mentioned already, the mini heater that you placed nearby, was NOT putting out ANY heat. Had the waitress told us that the other hibachi station would have been warmer, we would have moved. We mentioned how cold we were EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE CHECKED IN. Instead of blaming us in your response, you should take some accountability regarding the temperature issues and flavor issues.

Original review – Very disappointed after being a customer for a very long time. My family came there last night, Friday Jan 3rd 2026, for hibachi dinner. The place was just about empty, it was FREEZING inside and the chef used a “new” recipe – instead of garlic & butter, they used butter, garlic and TACO seasoning. It was terrible. Taco seasoning belongs on Mexican food. They had a very small electric heater plugged in next to us, but it wasn’t producing any heat. We sat with our coats on throughout the entire dinner. One other table came in and ate in the main restaurant. They ate with their coats and hats on. The waitress just keeping laughing it off. Between the freezing cold and the odd seasoning – I can’t see us returning any time soon, which is disappointing – we’ve come there at least 3-4 times per year for hibachi dinner.

I have been enjoying the food here for quite some time, between delivery and in person dining. Every meal has been amazing, every in person visit was fun. Until tonight.

We came in without a reservation and asked for hibachi. We were not initially informed of any wait, just that a little party was coming that would sit at the other open chairs, and were seated. After we ordered drinks we were told that suddenly the hibachi area will take an HOUR for us to get food. While annoying, we moved tables because we were hungry and had our five year old with us. She was quite bummed as she wanted to see the show. A waitress tried to comfort our daughter by saying she can watch another table’s dinner, or the tv.

Immediately our drinks were wrong. But the real kicker was when two other groups came in and were seated at hibachi. By this time we have ordered our dinner, figuring we would enjoy the food at least. After speaking with the closest thing to a manager, apparently she had left and hadn’t told any of her staff, I am offered a free appetizer as compensation. I ask to be left alone and we will figure things out, I just wanted to enjoy my meal.

Kumo couldn’t even get that right as a waitress came around to try and bribe my daughter with ice cream as a consolation prize along with watching the other family’s dinner. There was no question whether she had an allergy or was allowed. That only came to an end when I snapped at the waitress to let us eat and we will be going elsewhere for our dessert. Let alone that the atmosphere had very much changed and it felt like we were being rushed out.

We paid, we tipped as their service is not an a reflection of the managers to figure out a schedule.

If we were told there was an hour wait when we first showed up, yes we would have left, but we would have been returning customers. Sakura down the street probably isn’t as big of a disappointment. What a shame.

Edit: I guess I can’t respond to a response. Kumo, I am not ever coming back. Sakura down the street was cleaner and took better care of us. You had your chance, why would I come back to someplace that obviously doesn’t care? The time to make this right was when this happened, two months ago, not on a Google review to try and save yourselves.

I went here the other night for dinner with my wife. We’ve been a few times over the past year. We ordered 3 sushi rolls, a few hand rolls, general tsos chicken and a side of hibachi noodles. As always, everything was very good and tasted fresh. For the price, the sushi is very good, especially compared to some other places that charge close to double for similar rolls. My only minor issue is that they charged an extra $2 for a small side of Sriracha sauce we used for the hand rolls, but they did let us know before and we agreed, so it wasn’t a blind side or anything.

Overall, everything was great and we’ll be back again!

The owners response to my review seems to be blaming me for their issues!

Not sure what happened to this restaurant. Went there last night with my family for Hibachi and there is no heat in that building. We ate with our winter hats and coats on. Also they changed the butter they use and mixed it with some Mexican taco spice. Not as good as it used to be.

Went here once so that’s why only 4 stars. The food I got was very good. My significant other got sushi and he really liked it. The location is not that good because the road has been under construction for a while so be aware of where you’re supposed to park. It will be to the right of the restaurant. Did not try their Hibachi!

I visited this place last weekend for lunch. Food was fresh. Agadashi tofu & sushi was good. Salmon appetizer was delicious. But, chicken skewers , fried cheesecake were pretty average hence 3.5 stars from me. But I will come for sushi, other appetizers! Will recommend to try agedashi tofu, sushi rolls, baked salmon appetizer.

Ok let’s talk about. It wasn’t to crowded and it was clean. The prices were reasonable and the Signature Rolls were 50% off all day everyday. You can see below me my girl decided to order Crab Rangoon and to my disgust and surprise it came with Honey Mustard ( what the hell) per the nosey cashier “its a Special Sauce” no it was Honey Mustard..I asked for the Sweet Chili Sauce beside the sauce the Rangoons are good. I had Salmon and Shrimp Habachi the Shrimp was ok the Salmon was dry and stiff. We ordered 2 rolls one with Lobster one with Shrimp. We couldn’t tell if the Lobster was in there. The side salad was actually good that’s why I took a pic. It didn’t have that chalky gritty Ginger Dressing that I have had at other Japanese restaurants. All in all it was ok. I have no desire to go back but it’s just my opinion. I will say the Service was good and that means alot.

was being rushed to order before all of our party came, we filled up the entire habachi and they only came out with one chef so half the table did not get to see the show. the steak was hard and because the chef was rushing there was no show. we spent over 700$ and we won’t be back unfortunately it wasn’t worth it.
