Tried the ramen place with a relative for lunch.
The ramen bowls were good though nothing special. Ordered a side of takoyaki which was good.
The broth was light but not rich or much.
Both of us ordered extra ramen but I added extra chasui which could’ve soaked up the broth but the chef should’ve noticed that but didn’t.
Extra servings cost an extra charge ~$5-7/each.
It’s a relatively small place with a couple of tables with bathrooms in the back.
The waitress said that they were related to the Kume restaurant in Seabrook NH as that was her old mother’s restaurant & the Epping location belonged to her cousin’s side but separated.
Gift cards are only good at the specific locations where it was bought.

Michael and his wife are amazing people that have been in the restaurant business for years now. They love to make you happy with a full belly and a smile. The food at Kume Ramen is absolutely delicious. I recommend it to everyone. Ramen veterans or first timers are guaranteed to love something or everything on this menu! I’ll be back again and again and again etc….

Kume was great! Service was fast and so polite. Food came out quick but clearly fresh, and it was all delicious. The house hot sake is great and the kimchi ramen is amazing! The only downside was it happened to be a bit cold, but as soon as we came in we were informed of the heat issue so it wasnt a big deal. We will 100% be back

What a lovely family owned restaurant with authentic delicious ramen! Our family tried a few different items on the menu. The fried chicken appetizer was so tender, juicy, and delicious! We also had dumplings with a delicious dipping sauce, crab Rangoon, and edamame. My son had the chicken fried rice which was perfectly seasoned and not greasy. We had the Tonkotsu ramen and seafood ramen. The Chashu pork belly was perfectly charred and the broth was so flavorful and not greasy. The seafood was fresh and also very savory yet light perfectly balanced broth. Will be back!

Kume Ramen has replaced my typical chicken noodle soup when I feel sick. It’s delicious and it held up very well on a 20 minute drive home. Next time when it’s not a blizzard we’ll be dining in.

Full review:

Restaurant: I wasn’t sure what to expect when I walked in to pickup my takeout order Friday. There are way more tables than expected and it’s a pretty ‘open’ space.

Staff: SUPER nice. They intentionally double checked my order before they handed it to me. They asked me to call them if we had any issues. Everyone was smiling and although they seemed very busy already (it was only 4:45), they got the order out really quickly.

Food: Keeping in mind that this was takeout, overall the food was good. I think the servings are a little small for the price, especially the calamari (we ate two rings before taking this photo) and the steamed bun (barely any meat). The flavors of everything were on point. The sauce that comes with the calamari should be bottled up and sold, assuming they make it in house. If it’s already in a bottle on shelves somewhere, I need to know where so I can drop everything I’m doing and purchase post haste. Not enough fish in the poke bowls but the flavors, again, lovely. Popcorn chicken pieces are small, but they taste really good. They didn’t survive the takeout container, meaning they lost all crisp I assume they had. That’s the risk taken with takeout though! I wouldn’t get the teriyaki chicken again for me or my husband, but my young children liked it. The sauce was a little too sweet and almost felt the the dish was boring/thrown together. Edamame were perfectly cooked and I can’t wait to try the spicy garlic edamame next time. And… I’m sure you’re all wondering… the ramen… I didn’t try it. ‍♀️ I was so stuck on trying a little bit of everything, by the time I got to the ramen, I was stuffed. I’ll try it as a reheated leftover and can comment on the flavors then, but I wouldn’t consider it an official review until I actually order and eat it fresh!

All in all, very good takeout experience especially for JUST opening. I think their clean and friendly atmosphere, good flavors, and lack of any decent similar restaurant in the area will take them far. I hope they can change the portions a little, and I hope they add a build-your-own-bowl option for the poke! Go check them out!!

This place is one of my favorite places to eat. I could eat their chicken ramen and tofu steamed bun for every meal. My husband likes the kimchi ramen and the seafood ramen.

The staff was very fast during all phases of the meal and showed great knowledge of the menu. The food was delicious and affordable as well! Ramen tastes even better after sitting in its broth for a few minutes and the poki was very fresh.
