Kula Shave Ice hand crafts organic shave ice using fresh local fruit and all organic ingredients. Everything is homemade with no dyes, artificial flavors or preservatives. We also serve organic cold brew coffee, locally made premium ice creams and Waipi’o Valley poi. There are many vegan options and a flavor with no added sugar. Taste the difference!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at The Kula Shave Ice Stand next to the Hilo Farmers Market! The flavors were incredibly delicious, and the ice was so smooth and creamy, making it the perfect refreshing treat on a hot day. The freshness of the ingredients truly shone through in each delightful bite. I highly recommend this stand for anyone looking for a top-notch shave ice experience. Five stars all the way! Potentially the best shave ice I’ve ever had. Love how they pride themselves in using quality, organic ingredients. The flavors I got were coconut and cacao, but I wished I just had coconut for the whole bowl because it was the better flavor. The (whipped) haupia cream and coconut sweetened condensed milk were the star of the show though and really made this place stand out for me. Will def be back next time I’m on this island!

This is my favorite shave ice on the whole island. The people were literally so sweet. They always had amazing suggestions! The flavors were to die for. Visiting from Texas, where it’s hot and love snowcones, there was a competition on the best Hawaiian shaved ice. This place came in 3rd. Gecko Girls in Kona was number 1, it was to die for! Paia side of Maui was 2nd forgot the name.
