Enjoyed happy hour. Keep in mind that the happy hour menu isn’t reduced prices on their regular appetizers, it’s tiny portions, like tapas. So we ordered a bunch of items, and mini mai tais. We also enjoyed the steak kabobs. We also got the Terminator, one of their specialty sushi rolls, which was excellent! The star off is because the service wasn’t great, the didn’t seem to have enough staff so we had to wait several times for our waitress and even go find her ourselves.

This was hood on Saturday evening. Greeted as soon as I walked in, seated at a nice size booth. The waitress came just after being seated. A few items on menu were not available, so I ordered pork chops with teriyaki glazed veggies. Since it was my birthday? Waitress brought complimentary dessert surprise (and sang happy birthday) she was great! Entire experience was great!

We are staying at the sanctuary resort, and Kula ranch is the on site dining venue. We had lunch there, a terribly disappointing meal, an Asian salad made with bitter lettuce – arugula and red butter lettuce, over cooked chicken breast and no dressing. I guess when I was offered extra dressing I should have said yes please.
We tried Kula once more for dinner. Like night and day. Really great sushi, and a very caring server. I told her I was allergic to both papaya and shell fish. She tucked her order pad away and came to sand by me, “what would you like to have?”. It was as if she rolled her sleeves up, determined to make sure I had a nice meal without allergic reactions. Not a great selection of fin fish however (no trouble with those!). The wine was pricey and very acrid, oak and acid tasting. Wonderful people, surroundings kitschy and vintage, food was good to mediocre, staff was stellar.

On vacation and staying at the bestwestern across the street. Visited the bar yesterday for cocktails and appetizers,service was good and food was very good,had some spicy tuna….well husband did,and ti nachos with California roll to go. Over all good. Next day went from lunch I had the sliders and my husband had the French dip let’s say after they grilled the onions for his sandwich which he asked for when ordering all was fine. Would recommend.

Tried the Hawaiian nachos which were new to me and for that reason I liked the novelties but there was a very heavy fried flavour. I had the goats cheese salad to start which was poor. A few leaves in a plate with a couple of carrot sticks and 4 or 5 pieces of candied a walnut. The cheese itself a as fried in Pablo breadcrumbs but was so greasy I could barely taste the cheese. Very disappointing. Husband had steak and it was well cooked and he enjoyed it so maybe just go for the meat! Service was a bit sketchy, staff didn’t seem to know what was going on.

FABULOUS!!! We almost didn’t go, based on some rotten reviews, but we actually ended up there, so decided to go in. This was one of the best decisions we made! The staff was attentive, and the food was delicious!! Portions were large and presentation was worthy of a TV show!! I don’t know what happened to the folks giving the not-so-favorable reviews, but we had a lovely time and plan on going back!! It was a delightful find!!

No hostess to greet you when you walk in, then Slow service, limited menu, expensive prices, missing items from order. Miso soup is good. Sushi wasn’t the greatest and was costly.

Well..i planned a wedding reception here. It was a lot of trouble. The person i was in contact with was Dee. There were 30-40 emails between 2 weeks before wedding. I asked every question under the sun..she did not volunteer any information. She was busy moving during the process, and did not refer me to anyone who could help me. The contract was not mailed and signed until 3 days before the wedding..with the date wrong..We ordered buffet, thinking we would get to take left overs home..we were not able to.. for some reason. and there were about 10 ppl who didnt show up. Overall it was a pain.. and i hope she didnt make money off of me having the reception there. Also the bartender got my brothers drink wrong and just poured it out. and was very rude to us. Good Luck if you want to have a party here!

service and food was great! We ordered the ribs, the kahlua pork, seafood pasta and the tortellini. It was all very good. Deset was yummy. Our waiter Eddie, our waiter was awesome.
