First I will start from the service.
I asked for half a chicken with rice and specifically asked for white meat person taking order said they could not accommodate that and food would be served however kitchen served it. Now for the actual food I was given the white meat however it was bland and very tasteless the rice as well very mushy and both items seem to have zero to little seasoning takes like it was just baked nothing else. Will not be giving this place my bussiness again

I should’ve done when they were really no people inside that the service and the food was gonna be terrible. I’ve been to this place a total of twice, The older woman who runs this place is just rude. If you ask any questions about pricing, she’s automatically cutting you off and telling you if you don’t like it, you can go somewhere else. The first time I was in a hurry, so I bought the food, regardless of her tone, and I went last night, four months later, and still the same tone and ignorant. This time she asked me after I placed an order if I don’t want it then she can just cancel it then I realize this is my money. I don’t have to spend it somewhere where someone’s being rude and dismissive to me. I wasn’t even arguing about pricing. I wanted to confirm what the price was she’s just pointing me to a wall. She’s not gonna last I’m sure she’ll be working in someone else’s restaurant because she can’t properly run hers.

We happened upon this little place passing through town, and how lucky we were! Excellent and authentic Mexican food. Roast chicken was tender and delicious. Enchiladas were generous. We tried 4 sides: tostones, nopales, maduros, along with both refried and pinto beans, served with rice. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend!

I went back after a few months since a friend insisted. I had a soup for $22! Not worth. It was just broth and veggies and a piece of chicken. We spent $48 in a soup, 2 tacos and 2 drinks. Their food is way overpriced for what you get.

I don’t get around to this area as much as I used to, so it has been a few years since I’ve eaten here. It was great back then, and it seems that they’ve been able to maintain the quality I remember. I’ll be back whenever I can be!

We used to love this place but were disappointed. We were told that the prices on the menu were not the actual price. The meal that we selected was priced $19.99 on the menu, but we were told that the price was actually $29.99. In addition, they no longer serve free tortillas with salsa when you are seated. We asked for extra plates and were given styrofoam plates. The food was decent, but we are not going back.

Food and service was great. Will go back. My son is a picky eater and he loved the burrito he got.

My first time visiting while out discovering new places in the Newport area. Good authentic Mexican. Not Tex-mex/ Taco Bell. Good service and prices. The flavors were very good. Food was fresh tasting and full of flavor. The sauces were excellent. A local eatery that deserves a try. What it lacks in decor is more than made up for by the food and service. I will be eating here regularly.

Authentic food and great prices. For $5.25 I got a quarter of a roasted chicken and a side order of nopales. The chicken was tender and tasty and the side dish was good. Lots of Latino people come here which I take as a good sign. The service was quite friendly. One caveat, they take cash only.
