The menu is extensive with sushi, udon, ramen etc. we ordered the gyoza, tendon, ramen. The portions are very large for the price but flavor was lacking, we thought the gyoza was the best and ramen was overcooked. The service was not the best, the waiter was extremely impatient and even spit in the floor while taking our order. I know this might be normal for certain cultures but it felt very unhygienic

The menu was very crunchy and tasty, but the reality turned out to be worse than expected. The food was not tasty. And all. we ordered ramen first, asked for a spicy midium, it turned out to be very VERY spicy, I couldn’t even breathe, I choked and began to cough for a long time. The ramen was also sweet. We ordered two different sushi, it turned out to be a salmon skin, this is the worst thing we have ever tried. The skin overpowered the taste. we decided to order another set of sushi, but they were also not tasty. In the end, what we got: three sets of tasteless sushi, sweet and super spicy ramen. bill 105$. The sushi was very expensive and also not tasty, would not recommend this place. For all the time, the waitress came up once and asked if everything was all right, only when I asked for the bill and she brought it, she said “is everything all right?” and after when I gave the card for payment and she brought the bill, the waitress spoke on the phone.

We have travelled to San Francisco many times and we have visited various restaurants until we discovered Kui Shin Bo on this trip. We loved it so much that we were there practically every day, either for brunch, lunch or dinner. The food menu is exhaustive and the staff is extremely friendly, accommodating and hospitable. They have an innovative sushi/maki menu designed by their chef/owner. Just amazing!

Generous portions for good prices and the staff were quick and efficient, came back a second time and had a similar experience. Definitely recommend if you’re staying in the area!

Came in with my family for a dinner we’ll never forget! The food was absolutely amazing. Sushi was divine, and this spicy curry beef was the beef of my wettest dreams! Super flavorful, super tender. It tasted like great quality and pride was put into these dishes, and I’ll be back next time I visit San Fransisco!

The food was really really good. The portions were very generous and I thought the prize was adequate. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because of the staff. The guy that took our order was cold and he was talking on the phone while doing it. Not really nice.

I was just a tourist and I didn’t know where to eat nice Japanese foods so I looked up on the Google map and found this place. And I don’t understand why this place got 4.4. This is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The broth of ramen was not rich nor thick at all. There was no mango slice on salmon mango roll. Service is not good. On top of that… I found somthing in my ramen…….. I am not writing about that in details but my first experience for this place, which will be the last one, was never good… I hope they improve their foods and service.

Had a wonderful meal here with my wife. Staying nearby and we were intrigued. I had a sashimi/sushi meal and my wife enjoyed a nice curry dish. All the food tasted great and portions were great. Would stop by again.
