So my mother’s bf was drunk and didn’t tell her where he was at and a female bartender answered th e phone and hung up and told my mom she was going to drive him home and we live 3+ hours away from each other and I did not like how this bartender would not tell us where it was at until my mom yelled at her drunken bf on the phone.

Bartender refused to serve me drinks last night (5/11/24) after she saw my ID. It’s real, authentic, and I’d never been so disrespected before in that place till last night. She made sure she wouldn’t face me when I was trying to raise issue about it. Five year old childish behavior. I went home without even a drop of water, thank you very much. And yeah, I had friends who saw this whole thing happen. Female bartender, long dark blonde hair up in a bun, glasses. She needs to go.

Khultyme is the nicest bar in Jacksonville and one of the loveliest in town. My mother always loved to go there. Great live music by fun bands and a wonderful experience, without the skeeziess many of our local drinking holes have. Special props go to the lovely owner who is an absolute peach. I can’t imagine why you’d go anywhere else, locally, if you just want to come to a nice bar. Drop by:).
