THEY MAY NOT BE OPEN ON MONDAYS.I really wanted to try this place. They don’t have a phone number so I placed in order on Grub Hub. I paid and went to pick up my food. When I got there the placed was closed but the ours on Google said it should be open today. No hours of operation posted on their food truck either. Unsure if this is just the on day they were unable to open on Monday. Things happen. But I would encourage the vendors to provide a business phone number, hours of operation on there truck and a sorry we are closed of they aren’t there when they’re supposed to be there.

The photo looked great but how was it? Unfortunately, most of the food was undercooked. The chicken was clearly raw and I was not going to eat it out of fear of getting sick. Also, some of the fries were undercooked. The top layer started out crispy but as I got to the bottom ones, they had the consistency of stuff starchy fries that needed more time in the frier. I will say the spicy garlic sauce was pretty good though.

Ordered a corn dog kid’s meal for my son, and the corn dog was still frozen on the inside. I asked them to fix it nicely, and the girl said it was our fault for not getting the food soon enough.
I told her the fries were hot, but the corn dog was still frozen. She said no…
I had to threaten to call the health department if my son got food poisoning before she took it back and fixed it.

Skip this food cart. Pita from a bag, frozen lamb pieces heated up on a grill, store bought sauce. Hardly any flavor at all. Where is my $12 going? Because it sure isn’t to good quality food. This place is everything I don’t like about food carts and the guy running it isn’t very friendly either, and it took half an hour to get three gyros. They didn’t even serve anyone between us ordering and getting our food, so that’s actually how long it took them to make it. Terrible place.
I can’t reply to the response, but I timed it. It took 28 minutes. Also, pita should be fresh that day and meat should be on a spinner, not frozen. It’s kind of hilarious that a gyro cart thinks frozen meat is normal. Anyone who has been to a real Doner cart in Germany knows frozen meat = avoid.

To be clear, all of the falafel made in Portland Metro area is bad – giving it a bad reputation that it does not deserve. This place has the best falafel in Beaverton and probably in the Portland Metro area as well.

I can’t believe I paid $16 for such a small amount of food. Just awful. Ridiculously overpriced and bland to boot.
Edit: As the owner so kindly pointed out in their reply to me the apparent price discrepancy, I’ll clarify that my tri-meat wrap was $14 + 15% tip… which is a little over $16 in total. And yes, it was bland, woefully sparse, and still overpriced.

Our food took quite a while to be ready, considering there were barely any patrons at Breakside carts or inside the bar area.
The falafel salad was one of the most anticlimactic things I’ve ever eaten. Shredded lettuce from the grocery store with mini square tomatoes and onions (think pico de gallo size) sprinkled on top. I also had pita and hummus. The hummus had zero flavor, and the pita was half stale. Really disappointed I had to eat here. Our other choice food cart was closed. The only reason for the two stars is that the falafels were decent in taste and texture even if they were tiny.

The dude we ordered from had the nastiest demeanor about them. He ignored my wife for the first several minutes she was standing there to order while he was doing literally nothing, then proceeded to process her payment, didn’t take her name, or hand her a buzzer to know when her food was ready. We then watched as he worked on EVERY OTHER ORDER that came through other than hers. I don’t care what’s going on with you personally, don’t take that with you to your place of business and treat people like garbage, then ignore their order entirely. Avoid this spot. The other carts there are better and will react more positively to receiving your business. If you’re miserable, don’t be there that evening. If this work kills you inside, do something else. Don’t take it out on yourself and your customers.
