The best Shabu experience I’ve ever had.
The food was immaculate and so flavorful. My friend is a chef himself, and he was incredibly impressed with the food. The staff were exceptionally hospitable to us. I love that they had movies playing while we were eating. Just a great experience all around.

Wow. We just had the most incredible experience. Been here for a year, and this has been the best food we’ve ever tasted. Amazing service, Kayla and Jess checked in on us so often we felt so cared for. And the atmosphere was amazing with the Japanese interior design, Godzilla pinball, and the… bidet!!!!!

This place has some delicious Ramen and a chill vibe. Ordered the tonkotsu and added a liberal amount of the hottest spicy sauce they offered. They have a very nice Japanese aesthetic and were showing anime on the tv. The manager Jess was very friendly and attentive. Will come back on a future trip.

Amazing place to share with family and friends for sure!! The food was from another planet, we try Chicken Karaage, Tan Tan Ramen and Birria Ramen (Chef Special, request it please). The presentation and the portions were perfect. Also I tried the Tokyo Sunset which was delicious but you can select between many drinks. The service was warm and they took care of us very well. Definitely will come again.

We love Kuchu Shabu, and love that it’s closer to home now!! The quality of the food is insanely good, the wagyu literally melts in the broth. The gyoza is amazing, and each cocktail we’ve tried has been delicious. The service is top notch at both locations! We’ve had the pleasure of interacting with the owner, Austin, each visit. He’s always there, Interacting with each guest and makes the experience so nice! You can tell within seconds that he truly cares about his business, the food, and the customers all at the same time. Will continue coming, and recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Bok choy a citrus based peanut sauce which is very different than what’s commonly used. The spices from the veggie dish go along very well with the noddle soup. The soup is a rich spicy chicken,Korean chicken glaze is different from the broth which is well thought out for the monthly special Korean fried chicken ramen.
They have the best sauces I’ve tasted that comes on the side. Unfortunately it’s not their own.
Tan tan mien
Really flavorful, groud pork tastes really tender with noodles and not too spicy, rich flavors overall. Well rounded. A must try and great addition to the sugar House area. Will be back for more food!
Know before going that it’s ADA accommodating.
