Enjoyed eating here. Small and quiet. Food satisfying. Music just the right volume to enjoy your food. You are totally able to enjoy the food and conversation.
Thank you for a pleasant time. I will share with others. ✔️

Been looking for a good Thai restaurant for so long! I’m happy to say I finally found one. The food at Kub Kao Thai was delicious, the service was great and I loved the ambiance. We ordered a lot of food! Thai Tea, Tom Yum Soup, Papaya salad, Larb Guy, Pad See Ew, and Fried Bananas with Fried Chocolate Ice cream. It was all so yummy! When you order they ask you what spice level you want. We ordered 3 for everything. The only thing that was way too spicy was the Papaya Salad it was more like an 11… My husband and I were dying with laughter because it was so hot! We powered through it though because it was delicious! I definitely recommend this place and I will absolutely be back.

We stopped in to try the new Thai restaurant in town and were genuinely impressed! The service was fantastic—quick, friendly, and attentive. The space is clean, bright, and inviting with classy decor that makes it feel warm and welcoming.
We ordered the orange tilapia, crab rangoons, chicken satay, and chicken in brown sauce. Everything came out fast and tasted fresh and delicious. Each dish had great flavor, and you can tell they put care into how they prepare their food.
So glad to have this spot nearby—already looking forward to going back!

Atmosphere is good. Food is not. Overly priced. Prices are way too high here for what it is compared to other thai/asian restaurants near in Mckinney. Not even close to authentic thai food. If you are a thai tea fanatic like me, don’t get their thai tea.. Unless you like packaged instant powdered thai tea. But personally, I’d rather spend $6 on REAL steeped brewed thai tea. There are other thai restaurants in McKinney that brew the real stuff at $4.. May be a personal thing as I like savory tastes, being half Lao half Vietnamese.. their food was just not it. Their Crab Rangoons are $9+ for 5 pieces?! That honestly caught me by surprise as most thai/asian restaurants offer 5 pieces for $6!! And they weren’t even good, there was just way too much cream cheese (if you’re into that).. We got the Pad Thai with spice level 3, no spice whatsoever, was too sweet.. also got the “Rad Na” which I’m assuming is their Lad Na, it came out in a bowl which was odd to me as it usually comes out on a plate. Spice level 4, literally just had cut up red peppers in it, tasted just plain. I thought there’d be some chili oil in it. The noodles were not cut up and they were bunched up and stuck together. We were disappointed! We won’t be coming back.

Its a very new place as Asian Thai, Vietnamese and Laos restaurant in Princeton so we are excited and very aware of it will be a little waiting for services but we got our seat right away. And its worth the wait yall. And as someone from Thailand for me finding a good papaya salad like back home is really hard so kub kao make it happen and its been my favorite place and I went back agian the next day lol im very picky about Thai food but this place got me. Pineapple chicken fried rice are so dang good just like I was expecting anyway if lived around Princeton on 380 and by Walmart, you should go give it a try. Also those services ladies are very nice and polite.

Great service and experience! Never tried Thai before, besides Pho. Walked in and greeted, asked for suggestions after explaining we’ve never had Thai and the suggestions were right on point. Eased us to the flavor and spiciness of the food.
Food was delicious, flavorful and had a nice kick. The drunken noodles that were suggested were flavorful. The BBQ pork fried rice was also a hit.
Service was great, they weren’t attentive without being overly attentive even with being busy with to go orders.

Today my friend and I went to this new place for lunch. It was actually recommended by another friend, and since they recently opened, I wasn’t sure how the food would be. But honestly, it was way above my expectations! The food was really delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing with family or friends. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone! ✌️”

Finally!!! We have a place in town that has amazing food, service and atmosphere.
We came in very hungry and this place did not disappoint at all.
We ordered, thai egg rolls, heavenly pork, yellow curry(it’s a hidden menu item), tom Kha soup, and drunken noodles.
Every dish was well seasoned.
Few things we would tweak ourselves. The vegetables in the curry were cut a bit too big, but doesn’t not take away from how amazing it was.
Tom Kha soup, we didnt know it had a lot of noodle, so if you order the large side, be prepared to eat. Next time I might ordered it with no noodles and white rice (which was delicious too) on the side. Overall this is a place you wanna try if you love Asian cuisine.
Happy to have this place close to home.
