I can’t say enough good things about their food. I’ve eaten there easy 100+ times over the years and it has always been fantastic. I’ve had everything on the menu, and its all good. Top it off with a key lime. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a mixed experience at this BBQ Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sides (beans and mac-n-cheese) were amazing. Oddly, the meats were not very good, which are the backbone of a BBQ Restaurant.
The brisket was chopped and very dry. The ribs were beyond smoked, they were burnt and inedible. The hot links were the only redeeming meat, out of the three meats I ordered. I think with an overhaul on the meat preparation, this could be a good restaurant. Maybe I came on a bad day.

Purchased a very dry and tough pulled pork sandwich and two turkey bowls to go. Sandwich was so dry and tough, bbq sauce was so thin and watered down it did not help. Turkey bowls were dark meat only, very strong game taste. The stuffing in the bowl was wet and mushy. Not sure if this is a regular item on the menu or last weeks left overs. Inedible, very disappointing. Recommend MO’s BBQ across town.

I tried this place for dinner and ordered Mike’s basket with the beef brisket, coleslaw, beans, and the mashed potatoes. The meal was 15.99 not including tax or tip. I was disappointed by the portion size as well as the quality. The main brisket dish was a pulled brisket, it was dry and overall not very flavorful. Also for $16 there should’ve been much more meat. The coleslaw was good And the staff were nice. The place seemed clean and well kept. There is so much good food in Boulder, this place is not worth going to and is to expensive for what you get.

Meats were smoked to perfection! Sauce was hot and there were options for multiple flavors. The meats are the star of the show, but the sides are not to be missed! And unlike most things in Boulder, the prices are very very reasonable for what you get. 10 out of 10, hands down.

This was $30 (I feel it’s overpriced). The ribs had a bit of a gassy taste, but were exceptionally tender. The rest of the bbq was good (not the best but way better than I expected). The sides were good but standard. I got all 3 sauces, was not impressed with the spicy, but the other two were decent. The cornbread was dry. The best part of the experience was the customer service. I’m not sure who was working today but both of them were very helpful and knowledgeable. I suspect the catering is better than the in house, and I will be trying it out later to confirm.
TLDR; great service, in house bbq is better than I expected for boulder.

The meat was old and dry, the mac and cheese was just like kraft but less flavor, and the mini key lime pie was gross and all graham cracker. You would think the meat would be fresh on a Saturday at 4pm, but it seemed like you were eating someone’s left overs from three days ago. The best part of this meal was the roll, which I had to ask for twice with a plate full of meat.

I got the Mike’s basket with a pulled pork sandwich. A hot link for side and killer beans for side. Pork was tender. I liked the beans the best they are killer! Fast friendly service. 3 BBQ sauces to choose from.

This is some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. Very tasty sauce mashed potatoes were amazing the killer beans were… KILLER. I’m just visiting here for the week but I will be back before I head home.
