So I read the reviews, but after I made my order, and seems like some of the reviews are valid. The fish was super salty. Great advice if you listen to your customers make a little adjustments it’ll work out in your favor. The grits were good fish too salty.

Leaving a one-star review doesn’t fully capture my experience at this restaurant. Each time I visit, the young lady at the front desk has an attitude and comes across as rude.
During my most recent visit, I ordered the lamb chop breakfast, priced at $23, which includes eggs and grits. I have ordered this meal before and consistently experience the same issue—the lamb juices spill over into the eggs and grits. Because of this, I politely requested that the lamb be packaged separately.
The owner came to the counter and stated that she could place paper between the food, which would not prevent the oil from leaking, or that I would need to pay extra for an additional container. I explained that it was unreasonable to charge extra for separate packaging after paying $23 for the meal. At that point, she began speaking over me instead of addressing my concern.
The food quality is inconsistent—some days it is overly salty—and the customer service is consistently poor. If a restaurant cannot accommodate a reasonable request to separate food items, it raises concerns about their operations.
I do not recommend dining at this establishment.

I use to love this place! I haven’t been in over a year because it was always closed during posted open hours, the menu kept changing, the recipes changed so I stopped patronizing. I’m a die hard support minority businesses so I decided to give them a try again. The entry greeting was lack luster (the female appeared as if she’d prefer to be elsewhere. I greeted her and asked how she was doing; her temperament remained stoic). The decor hasn’t changed (it’s still a place you’d rather order take-out appose to dining in). I ordered grilled salmon and grits. The price was reasonable, my food was prepared swiftly and the exit farewell was much more friendly by a different lady with beautiful brown eyes. She was pleasant and courteous. I drove to my next destination and opened the container to a drippy grits mess. The grits were piping hot and delicious. The salmon was fresh and not fishy tasting and well seasoned. The grits were a little loose (watery) but had a good taste, however there were lumps in my grits meaning that they were not attended to as the began to boil. All true Southerners know you have to stir grits to prevent grit-clumps. For this I can’t give 5 ⭐️’s. I hope this was just a fluke and not common. I did finish my meal (all but the skin & those clumps.) I don’t know when but I’ll probably re-visit one day.

Today was my husband and I first time eating here. The environment was clean and friendly, and the young lady taking our order, “saw my vision,” when I was describing what all I wanted on my grits. And let me just say, the meal was absolutely delicious!
I highly recommend adding the creole sausage sauce and shrimp to your grits…it’s amazing!
I forgot to take before pictures, but the aftermath shows that we were pleased!
We will definitely be back!

The establishment is not welcoming! DO NOT expect good customer service from anyone. 1st visit. Lemonade price outrageous 5$ for like 8 ounces. No PUBLIC restroom and they’ll watch you walk on past to realize it’s locked and walk back. They add their own tips when u pay with card or tap. Now the food was delicious and it took about an hour I just wish the prices matched the portions. Menu and variations limited. See photos of my experience as good as the food was I would NOT recommend anyone to support this business because the anger and negative energy can consume you and food might become the least of your concerns.

Just visited this place for the 1st time and the food is delicious. I had the salmon and grits with a side of creole sauce. Great portion size!!!
I would have to agree with some of the other comments about no suggestions were made to help me with my order after letting the cashier know it was was my first time here.
I was greeted by staff and food came out in a timely matter. I plan to try other items on the menu.

My wife needed a large order for a brunch event and they really came through. Staff was nice and the food taste great. Today I just happened to see something new to me on the menu, red velvet waffles. I recommend trying, and they also had different waffle flavors that I want to try next.
