One of our favorite restaurants, for either date night or with our kids. Food is always delicious, service 10/10, and they have the best mocktails I’ve ever had. My husband’s a beer drinker and loves to try different beers they have on tap. We’re lucky to have this in Jacksonville!

A group of my friends had heard that this was the place to eat in Jacksonville so we got a reservation. We drove the 40 minutes or so from Springfield and were prepared for a nice meal after having reviewing what looked like an elevated menu online. The staff was pretty good and took great care of us. Our group ordered an assortment of appetizers and and an assortment of main dishes. The entire group felt that our meals were nothing really special and very under seasoned. If you have never left Jacksonville and eaten elsewhere this will be a treat.

Absolutely unbelievable, owner was extremely rude to myself and my 15 year old brother in law. Stalked us around the course and stopped us to ask us what we were doing.

I’m not drowning in money so I only have a few clubs and no bag.

He said people don’t usually come out here with clubs, despite us having clubs.

When he saw we were actually golfing he seemed annoyed. He told us the men’s league was coming and we needed to hurry. We were on hole 4 out of 9.

He then got aggravated and raised his voice causing me to ask him if it was a racial issue (as a Hispanic man born and raised in Jacksonville I rarely feel discriminated against, but this behavior through me for a loop). I informed him that I’m a union roofer who likes to enjoy his leisure time. I’m not a professional golfer. I’m a paying customer who wants to unwind. I apologized and let him know we would be gone before the league started at 4:30pm. It was 2:50 pm. Their last available tee time is at 3:00 pm. We were not out of line.

I then went to the front desk lady after being unable to finish my game out of sheer discomfort. She was also extremely snarky and informed me that we must have been holding up players despite no one being immediately behind us.

Absolutely unacceptable! I live in walking distance and was considering an annual membership. Will not be returning

This is by far, my favorite place to eat in Jacksonville. K’s hits on ALL cylinders! The menu is top notch, with a nice selection to choose from. The service is always amazing and I love the ambiance. Highly recommend!

This is a tasty restaurant in a relatively small town in the middle of Illinois as the chef creates dishes I might expect to see in St. Louis or Chicago. Everything I’ve had, and we’ve gone half a dozen times, has been very flavorful, although the service is highly dependent upon which server has your table. Time of day, degree of busyness, none of that seems to matter. It’s a little loud, because it’s a large open room with wooden floors, but given it originally started off as the bar for a golf course, it’s developed into a tiny gem in the heartland.

A true hidden gem. Limited seating, especially on the back porch (highly valued during good weather). Great bar selection, strong pours. Recommend “burnt ends” and the Asian spring rolls for appetizers. Seafood was amazingly fresh, cooked to perfection. Yes, we’ll return.
