Sliders.
Although I hadn’t planned on doing an 8 – 2 split today, things came up and that’s just how it works.
I was on my way to a delivery in athens, georgia, when I saw a target store. I figured I would pull over there and park to take my two hour break rather than sitting in an hour and forty six minutes of traffic.
After I parked, I noticed, I was sitting right in front of a krystal’s restaurant. After doing a quick google menu search, i realized this is one of those slider restaurants.
I don’t really like sliders. But I’ve never eaten at a Krystals. So now i’ve got a reason to write another review.
I ordered the number for combo, which is supposed to come with 5 krystals with cheese. Chili cheese fries. And a medium drink. When I ordered, I asked for tots instead of fries. I just figured they would throw the chili and cheese on top of my tots.
Nope.
Krystals sliders taste better than white castle. That’s about the best I could say. I wasn’t disappointed because I didn’t have expectations going in. The meat itself was thin and had no flavor to it. All of the flavoring from these sliders comes from the onions, pickle and cheese.
It’s about 37°F outside this evening. And my steamed buns absorbed every bit of the cold weather on the short walk from krystals to my truck. I really do wish they’d put chili and cheese on my tots, but I guess i’m better off for not having chili on a night like this.
The restaurant was clean and the employee were very friendly

I will NEVER come back to any Kristal. Such terrible food. How can they call these hamburgers???? I don’t even know if they even cooked yhe “meat”. Fast food is unhealthy but this just crossed any limit. A total waist of money.

My review is based on the drive-through experience ordering 5 sliders, (no cheese) a beverage, and tots.
The person taking the order was pleasant. Took a bit of time to receive the goods at the pickup window and being from NJ this place, to me, is similar to White Castle with their square burgers and delay-to-deliver. Unfortunately, Im confident I’ll never return. The meal was a starch bomb with the 5 burger patties probably equaling 2 oz of ‘beef’, if that.
Overall, very costly for what you get. $13.77 out the door. Yes, it’s fast food–fast to take your cash for a lesser product.

I can’t believe they have raised the price on something that lacks quality. I wanted Krystal’s as I don’t have one near me. This is the nastiest thing I’ve had in a while. The sandwich was soggy. The patty looks and tasted as if it was soaking in hot water. The definitely did not place this on the grill at all. Two things that could help. They can hire a new staff or just shut it down because they obviously no longer care what they are serving.

My food was hot and made fresh. There’s nothing like those steamed buns! I went through the drive-through, and the attendant even bagged all of the special “no sauce” foods in a separate bag just for my daughter. She did this without me asking! She was professional and great at her job.

Well, what can I say? My recent online food order changed my rating from 5 stars down to 2 stars, and that’s pushing it. Whoever is at the drive-thru window at this Krystal location is always friendly and pleasant, and the food is always fresh and hot. However, on this occasion, my husband picked up our breakfast, and to my surprise, the bacon was burnt in my scrambler bowl. See pic below! Although we live 8 minutes from this Krystal location, I thought I could call to get some kind of resolution but since they were too busy to answer, I sent customer service an email with a picture of my bowl but to no avail, so here is my review which unfortunately is less than good. Bottom line, check your order before driving away.

So I have to update my review from 5 to 1 it has been going down for a while however today kind of topped it off first I go through order then they have no change for a hundred my order was 38 so had to go to the store came back waited in line to get my food and then ordered some boss totts which is advertised everywhere told to wait so I waited 30 minutes in the meantime I put out the food I had already ordered and did not have my junkyard fries then moved on to the chili cheese pups and the styrofoam container was melted so I continue to wait and then about 20 minutes later someone came out to tell me they were not expecting anyone to order the boss tots that they are doing away with them so they did not have barbecue sauce it would take 30 minutes more to make so I told her it’s fine just give me the refund for the tater tot it still took 20 minutes to get the refund I could not do anything but to live because it’s not worth really getting angry over there were several people waiting on food also you would figure if they have at least four people that I seen in there working and the front Lobby is closed that is more people to focus on drive-thru and should not take that long or be messing up orders

Went through the drive-thru on 11/4/17… I had a coupon that was mailed to me and the guy acted like he didn’t know what it was and then tried to tell me I couldn’t use it. Then some girl said I could. I paid for my order ask for a receipt several times still didn’t get one gave me my drinks told me to pull around front. I waited almost 30 minutes for my food. Still didn’t get a receipt. Food was hardly cooked cold and bread was falling apart like it was old. Tried calling the restaurant to complain to a manager several times because apparently there wasn’t one available when I was there and the phone just goes to a voicemail. Called the 1-800 number for customer service for Krystal’s but still haven’t got any feedback from that either.

Store is routinely not open during posted hours. Not sure why they won’t just update their hours. Phone number is also turned off so if you place in order on the app when they are supposed to be open, but they are not there is not much you can do. Seems like a common theme of late for this location from my experience and recent reviews. I think many people would be less upset if they would just be honest and tell us when they will actual be open to avoid the frustration. I like Krystal’s but will avoid this location moving forward.
