I went for a week day lunch. The service was good, but be aware you want to have plenty of time as this is not fast food. I got the green curry, which came with rice, a spring roll and a salad with peanut sauce for dressing.
Their spice scale seems to run spicy. I ordered a 2 spice which was a bit hotter than expected but still good. The salad with peanut sauce was fantastic.

Full marks for being the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to since my favorite got bought out years ago. Delicious curry, awesome pad see ew, and the calamari was the best I’ve ever had, apparently everyone has been doing it wrong.
Seriously delicious, calm atmosphere, and respectful staff. Well worth the cost and drive.
No pictures because I was too busy eating.

This is an authentic Thai near downtown Idaho Falls. We arrived before dinner time and had no problem finding parking. Quick service, friendly staff and yummy food.

Can’t ever get enough of this place. Their orange chicken is amazing. It has a very good homemade flavor element to it, and their Thai sweet tea is amazing. Too many places load their Thai sweet with sugar to cater to the American palate, but this place has it right with it not being sweet.

I recently dined at Krung Thep Thai Cuisine in Idaho Falls, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic selection of authentic Thai dishes, and every item I tried was bursting with flavor. The Thai fried rice was to die for.
One highlight was the freshness of the ingredients – you could taste the quality in every bite. The service was attentive and quick, and the staff were knowledgeable about the dishes, even making recommendations based on our spice preferences. Krung Thep is a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their offerings. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious, authentic Thai food in Idaho Falls!

People who give this place a 1 star are absolutely crazy! Either competing resturaunt trying to take them down from their 4.8 original rating, or just full on jerks.
I honestly don’t think there is a 1 star resturaunt in all Idaho Falls. 1 star, really?? This food is authentic, Delicious, we’ve come many times and enjoy every meal we have chosen.
This place is by far one of the best Thi resturaunts in town.
Literally, my favorite place to eat.
I find it very rude for people to leave somebody at one star when clearly this place is extremely clean, they put a lot of work into all of their food, all their food tastes amazing, and just because maybe their curry taste is off from somebody else’s curry doesn’t deserve a one star.
Let’s be better then that people. This is family owned, if you don’t like your meal ask for a new meal, don’t ruin their reputation by giving a 1 star.
Ps. Cheaper then Applebee’s

The food was absolutely amazing so good I genuinely wanted to lick the plate clean just to savor every last drop! Every dish was packed with flavor, and you can tell real care goes into the cooking. I highly recommend this place. It’s hands-down one of the best, if not the best, Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.

We visited this restaurant during our Kanab-Yosemite trip. The food was average; we tried the Tom Kha soup and yellow curry, which we requested to be spicy, but they just added chili flakes, and the flavor was underwhelming. We also ordered fried dumplings, which were good. However, this isn’t the authentic Thai food I’ve experienced at other restaurants.

I love Thai food and was in downtown Idaho Falls today and figured I would try out the food here. We got Pad see ew , orange chicken and chicken satay. Everything was delicious and the portions were enough that I could have save some to take home and still been full. It did take a few minutes longer than expected for them to take our order, but they got our appetizers salads and entrees out very quickly. We both enjoy spicy food got spice level 3/5 and I felt that it was fairly mild. The breading on the chicken was light and crispy with good flavor, texture and flavor of the pad see ew was good and I always get a little extra peanut sauce to add and it was delicious. For the two meals and tip at lunch was about $30 which is reasonable for a sit down restaurant. 9/10 and recommended this for anyone looking for good Thai for reasonable price!

We’ve eaten multiple times. The food is always amazing Thai flavors. Highly recommended. Our food tonight was their appetizer Spring rolls. They were amazingly fresh and delicious. We also got the curry noodles and the peppered chicken. They were great.
