I came into st luois for work trip and came across kreugers. It was the perfect place to have a great evening. Out of my entire trip i had the most memorable night here. The food here was on point the chef Johnathan suggested we try the smash burger and im glad I took his recommendation I did not expect how delicious it would be. If your looking for a great enviourment with some tasty eats ide recommend dropping by!!

Very disappointing
Went here for Wing Week and got an order of the buffalo wings with sauce on the side so I could try them both sauced and plain. The wings themselves weren’t crispy and relatively bland on their own. The sauce is just straight up Louisiana or Crystal hot sauce. Not even mixed with butter or any other ingredients that would make them stand out.
Why would you enter yourself as a participant in Wing Week if you’re just going to serve the most forgettable, subpar, lazy, chicken you could possibly imagine? 5.1/10 Clucks only because I didn’t actively dislike it. I ate them all only to avoid wasting food.
That being said the atmosphere and the service was immaculate. This would be a great place to have a couple drinks with friends. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to eat before or after.

Called in to place an order. The guy told me the kitchen closes at 7, he’s not accepting orders in a rude voice. It was 6:15, as my picture notes. I just said ok. Not giving my money to a place that doesn’t even want the business. Whatever. Just moved nearby, so was hoping to make this place a regular visit, but not anymore if I can’t just get a simple burger.

Ordered food..on gruhub waited for an hr.. not the driver fault. The restaurant canceled the order. SO I called them asked for a mgr.. the woman who answered the phone claimed that she was .. and said that they did not have a kitchen…LIES.. as they serve food and I’ve ordered from them before.. then claimed the owner was deceased.. yet that was not the case when they let grubhub take the order.

After reading reviews, we wanted to take a chance on this bar. We are from out of state and look for low-key places. We love smaller ‘dive’ bars. We were greeted right away by the friendly Madi behind the bar. Great conversations, lots of laughs, and good prices. The kitchen was closed, so we are unable to speak to that. But – do not let a few nay-sayers turn you off from checkin this bar out.

Very strange experience. Came in with a bunch of friends all excited to grab a beer and hang out. The bartender clocks us coming in and immediately climbs up on the bar and asks everyone for their IDs, which is fair. We hand them to her and she barely looks at them, then starts flinging (I said flinging!) them across the room saying we’re underage (as if she’d already decided she didn’t want us in there). Really rude and embarrassing, and honestly should’ve been handled differently. If they didn’t want a large group coming in, they should’ve just spoken with us directly instead of making a scene about our supposed age.
On another note, I’ve been here before when it’s packed with seemingly high-school aged kids and they haven’t cared a bit. So I’m not too sure why they had such a problem with a younger (but very much legal!) aged crowd coming in on a Friday night.
It’s an adequate bar if you come with the right people on the right night. Don’t walk in too happy and excited or they’ll assume you’re drunk and underage.

Horrible atmosphere the doorman said he was homeless it’s all arguing all the time because it’s alcohol I’m sure the peoples bosses would love to know they do this after work and the parking sucks I’m not paying a cover and waiting five hours to get in either
