On a whim, we tried this place…and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean & has Asian music playing which was rather soothing. Our waitress was prompt & polite & the turn around on the food was quick. We had the chicken satay & fried gyoza which was a great appetizer. I ordered the chicken pad thai which was super tasty. My husband had the yellow chicken curry and he said it was incredible. Very coconut forward as expected with the perfect amount of heat. The best thing was the pineapple fried rice with FRESH pineapple & perfectly toasted cashews. We will definitely be back!

Our group of 4 went for lunch, first time customers. We ordered the summer rolls as appetizers, very good choice.
They were brought out with a sweet sauce as well as peanut sauce. 4 pieces, enough for all of us to try it.
We all ordered the lunch portion, I chose the pineapple fried rice and, for my choice of meat, I added pork. Again, a good choice. We all chose to go with the least spicy option and noticed no taste of heat at all. There were just a few customers and our waitress was able to provide us with good service. Our orders were brought out quickly and well prepared. The lunch portions were sufficient.
Quite a few choices of dishes and appetizers on the menu.
I recommend this restaurant and will be going back.
BTW, the lunch menu prices were reasonable, under $11 for my order of fried rice.

Krua Thai is a great restaurant tucked into a strip mall on 21st near Ridge Road. They have a very nice atmosphere inside. Good decorations, peaceful music. I am a big fan of their Panang Curry. They will make it Thai Hot for you if you want, but if you just like heat as a flavor then level 3 or 4 will probably be enough. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food.

The food was awful. Who fries a fish and then puts it in a liquid sauce so all the breading is mush. The scallops and chicken were cooked in the broth and had no flavor and the chicken was like leather. The curry was not spicy at all and thin like water. Had a really tough time paying the over $100 bill. Will never be back.

Great attentive and fast service. All of the curry dishes taste good here. I have also had spring rolls, pad Thai, and drunken noodles. I appreciate the ability to increase the spice level as I like hotter food than the average. Everything is fresh and I haven’t had anything that tasted pre-made or old like some other restaurants.

It sits back a little but give it a try and support local

Wonderful place to get some fairly authentic Thai. Good flavors, healthy portions. Nice ambience. Staff friendly and polite. We ordered the curry puffs, Chiang Mai noodles, pineapple fried rice and the ladna. All flavorful. Would come again.

We got the drunken noodle w/ chicken & beef, ginger rice soup, spring rolls, & crab ragoon. The drunken noodle was good and very saucy, which is a great thing but could use more flavor & the beef was too tough to chew so I had to spit many pieces out. Next time I’ll only get chicken. Ginger rice soup was very good but kinda waaay too much rice. I’d get it with less rice & add veggies next time. The spring rolls & crab ragoon were PERFECT, best I’ve had anywhere. Good amount of filling & crispy.

Ordered pad thai and pad see ew. I eat a lot of thai food all over the country, and this is hands down the worst. The pad thai noodles were soggy and mushy and lacking flavor and hardly any chicken. The pad see ew had zeroooo flavor and was gross brown noodles with any flavor and hardly any beef. I would never order from here again.
