Stopped on our way through town. I love that its right off the highway. Clean place! Our service was kind, fast, and accommodating (I had 3 kids with me). Kiddos all got breakfast and she recommended sprinkles on their pancakes, which made them so happy. The hot roast beef sandwich was the best Ive had! Can’t wait to stop again.

Wow best burger I’ve had in a while. I love the diner experience. Krill’s knows what they’re doing. Cheeseburger fries and shake. Worthy of your attention Passing through but I won’t forget them. Yum

I’m traveling for work. I try a variety of restaurants while on the road. This is a gem of a place in Minot. I had the Knoephla soup, cabbage rolls entree, and a cappuccino-oreo shake–all delicious. The cabbage rolls reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make, the mashed potatoes were homemade, and the dinner roll was delicious! The soup was amazing–I had never had it before, but will order it again in the future if I see it in another restaurant. The shake was a bit thick, but was sweet and delicious!
Miranda was our server and she was amazing! She is very positive and a sweet person.
The diner was decorated for Halloween and looked so cute and festive!
I absolutely recommend this place for everyone. Good food, good people, and good atmosphere.

Kroll’s Diner – Minot, ND Location

I travel for work and eat at diners all over the country, and unfortunately this specific Kroll’s Diner location has consistently been one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The last two times I visited, the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty. It took over 5 minutes just to get drinks and another 5 minutes before anyone came to take our order.

I ordered a ham and cheese omelette, which came out runny. I asked for my hash browns to be cooked crispy, and they were served more like mashed potatoes. The pancakes were noticeably smaller than what I’ve had at other Kroll’s locations and were dry and burnt. Overall, the quality of the food and service was terrible both times.

What makes this more disappointing is that I love the Kroll’s locations in Bismarck and Fargo—they’re consistently great. But the Minot location is a completely different experience. The staff could even be heard behind the counter constantly complaining, which didn’t help the atmosphere.

There’s clearly an issue with management here. There’s a reason this place is usually dead when we go. After giving it multiple chances, I won’t be returning to this location

We spotted this place from the street and it looked so appealing that we couldn’t resist stopping to have a bite. The food was fantastic, and the staff were the nicest team I have ever encountered. I was blown away by how hospitable everyone was here. This place is definitely a must-visit for so many reasons!

This is a nice little 50s style dinner. The chicken fried steak was amazing and so were the biscuits and gravy. My wife had the French toast. They have nice friendly staff and quick service. Recommended highly

This is my favorite greasy spoon and breakfast in town. Comfort food, fun atmosphere, and most of our servers have been great too. Portion sizes are more than sufficient for adults and leave me full with leftovers. I enjoy the Big Bopper Omelette with sourdough toast. My kids love the pancakes.

Always a staple during my visit to North Dakota. The food is always delicious, comforting, and something you’ll never find in the South. Such sweet staff along with fast service. We didn’t even have to wait for a table during the busy fair week. Highly recommend the Knoephla Soup & Fleischkuecle! Can’t wait for my next visit.

We door dashed and got literally every item wrong, but we still tried it. They didn’t season the fries and hashbrown things, the gravy was like gelo and everything was cold/flavorless. I only gave 2 stars because I heard there milk shakes are great.

This establishment, akin to the Food Network, stands out as truly exceptional. Prior to a family member’s recommendation, I was unaware of its existence, having seen it featured on the Food Network. Upon visiting the restaurant, we were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and inviting ambiance.
