I ordered cupcakes for my son’s birthday using the online ordering option. A week or more after I placed my order, the day before the party, an employee called and advised that they do not carry the product I ordered. The employee could not explain why they offer a product online that they don’t carry. When I asked her why I never got a phone call so I could seek other options without scrambling, she advised it was negligent or incompetent staff. I strongly advise you do not use Kroger Bakery if you need a special order product on a timeline- they are unreliable and unprofessional. I had to scramble and pay over double at another source to get what I needed for my son’s party. Very disappointing, Kroger.
