I have many years of grocery retail experience, so I pretty much know how grocery store bakeries operate. My advice is to stay away from them, as not much is really “baked” there. Most all cakes and pastries, pies and the like come in frozen and are prepackaged. Not much different than Walmart. If you want a good grocery store bakery, stick with Publix.
