FOOD: Nice, enjoyable Thai restaurant with good, authentic food. We had curry puff and wild mushroom dumplings as starters, and tried the pad kee mao and garlic eggplant basil (which had plenty of eggplant). Medium spice was perfect for us—not too spicy. Portions are adequate for one person to finish at the table; don’t expect large portions with lots of leftovers like other Thai places.
SERVICE: They have a slightly different ordering system—upon entering, you stand in line, decide your order, pay, and then get seated (you can still order more at the table). Overall, service was quick, and food started arriving within about 5 minutes of sitting down.
AMBIENCE: Large seating area with a pleasant ambience.
LOCATION: Located in the downtown area with free customer parking adjacent to the entrance.
WAITING TIME: No real waiting time, except about 5–10 minutes to stand in line while people ahead of us placed their orders.

Omg, this is my new FAVORITE Thai place! I’m from Seattle and have been SEVERELY underwhelmed with every other Thai place I tried in Eugene. But this place is the BOMB! I got the green chicken curry and my boyfriend got the eggplant and garlic stir fry with tofu. Also, we got spring rolls. Spring rolls were delicious and crispy. The curry was creamy and decadent. But the garlic eggplant dish really stole the show! OMG. I will be dreaming about the flavors in the garlic eggplant dish! So yummy!!! The tofu in the dish was crispy and yummmm, the eggplant melted in my mouth with SO much flavor! 10/10 will be back for more. I wish the hostess would come to the table to ask if you want drinks or whatever. We would have ordered a drink or two but got distracted and didn’t make it up to the ordering counter for them.

Krob Krua is one of my favorites. They always deliver high quality, delicious food with such depth of flavor. Took my partner’s family here this evening and everyone was so happy with their food.

Our friend took us out to a unique thai restaurant was amazing. We started off with a special seared Ahi salad plate complimentary of the Chef… Also tried the massaman curry, bbq pork, curry puffs, and pizza of the month… all were very delicious and uniquely created. Our cocktails were great! Service was outstanding! We loved the differences from a traditional thai restaurant and would highly recommend checking out.

What a great find!
My friend invited me for lunch with a colleague of hers and we decided to order a variety of fudges for the table.
Such a lovely variety of colours, textures, flavours and aromas. Partially this is par for the course with Thai cuisine, but I felt that they managed to elevate the dishes beyond what I expect at a typical Thai restaurants.
The eggplant was sooo good, and frankly so was everything else. We had the green curry, pad kee mow with plump prawns, ahi laab which was so fresh and dressed with cured (?) black beans and fried chilli.
Save room for dessert, as the mango sticky rice with coconut is beautiful visually, has a great contrast of warm and sweet sticky rice with perfectly ripe mango.

Stopped in during lunchtime while waiting for a friend having a quick haircut a block away… Ordered Crispy Spring Rolls thinking I would get this very quickly as I only had about 20 minutes to spend there… Waiter was very nice, but took longer to receive than expected and was extremely hot… But finally when it cooled enough to not burn my mouth, it was tasty. Sweet n sour sauce was yummy.

Love the flowers! First time at Krob Krua and wowsers! They really know their craft. Krob Krua delivers when it comes to freshness, flavor, and favorable friendship. This might be my newest favorite of Eugene. Even the servers prefer their own restaurant to others around. The portions are generous. Desserts delicious!

Favorite Thai place in Eugene for their outstanding Champagne Mango Sticky Rice and their Garlic Basil Eggplant with Fried Tofu. These are the two dishes I find myself gravitating to every time. Thankfully I have friends who introduced me to the refreshing Ahi Laab which was crunchy and incredibly fresh with the chopped mint, as well as the Green Curry with an exciting kick (because who wants boring curry).

Best Thai food I think I’ve ever had. We live in the Bay Area and there are many options for Thai or Laotian food and this is seriously better than anything I’ve found there. I love this place but I seriously dislike the ordering at the counter. Please get an active QR code to order from the table. When we went tonight there was a short line to order so I grabbed two menus and took a pic of the specials and went around to seat ourselves. The person taking order was like oh you’re going to seat yourselves? I was like yes I want to read the menu before ordering. It’s just an awkward thing to have to wait in line to be seated while other people order when you know you aren’t ready to order until you read over the menu. I feel like if they just switched to toasttab they could eliminate this weirdness and still streamline the ordering process. It’s just a weird way of running the front of house.

The food was great and the environment is clean and nice. They want you to pay for your food before you even sit down and that means the tip too. You only see your waiter once when they bring you your food. They lady that took our order was very nice though.
