Kristopher Bakery is truly a tasty gem — an absolute must-visit for cake lovers. I first tried their cake at a friend’s birthday bash, and the flavor stayed in my mind ever since. I finally had the chance to visit myself, and it did not disappoint. Their tres leches cakes are incredibly delicious, rich, and mouth-watering, and even the coffee pairs perfectly with their desserts.
The customer service is exceptional, warm, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Everything feels worth the money because you can tell they put real care into what they make. If you’re planning for a celebration, just remember that their larger cakes need to be ordered in advance — they create everything fresh, by request, and make each special moment feel even more special.

I have been here twice, both times the customer service with a man not sure who he is, and don’t really care! Tried to place a order the day before. l calling all day last call was done at before around 4pm called the following morning right after they opened. I really was hoping that they can making accommodations with helping with the flavor i wanted. Come to find out that the man that answered the phone was very unprofessional rude told him that I call several times yesterday with no answer one of the last calls was done at 4pm ,he tells me that they were closed. Lied if the store hours are 10 to 5 clearly posted.
I called and went to another location on Halsted 35th street. Honestly it was a breath of fresh air. Not only the cakes where better high quality wonderful experience Carlos was very professional nice person. The End of my story with a Happy Ending is that, i myself or nobody else that I’ve recommend to come here will no get cakes from here ever again. We are all going to Kristoffer’s cakes LLC on 1735 W 35th st Halsted…… for a friendly, better,high quality ,tasting cakes. Hope that they realize that the product and customer service place a big role in a successful business ……

sooooo cute I loved it and would much rather go here than any other chain places like Starbucks or Dunkin.
Staff was super friendly and gave me extra time to think about what I wanted to eat, which was nice because I didn’t have to rush. no seats though, only carry out. Very big menu with more food than I expected, sandwhiches, omelettes, plenty of baked sweets, cake, etc. Coffee menu was average. They have almond and oat milk for milk alternatives.
I got a Cafe mocha with almond milk and a roast beef sandwich. It was super good. it reminded me of the coffee my mom made me when I was younger the staff helped give it that family vibe too. very comforting and great food.
would recommend and will go again when I get the chance!!

We drove over an hour to get here, not knowing that whole cakes are only sold by pre-order. The gentle was kind enough to sell me one that was ready for an order that would be picked much later. That gave them enough time to get another prepared.
The cake was just a traditional 3 Leches cake. It was perfectly moist throughout the cake. The frosting was not too thick nor too sweet. I would have loved to try one of the others flavors.
It is a little small and expensive when compared to other bakeries. The quality and taste makes up for the added cost

I always have a great experience at this place. The owner, Luis, and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming.
They offer the best cakes I have ever tried. I’ve never been a big fan of cake, but this place is the exception. The taste and aroma are truly unique and exceptional. Having been in business for over 20 years, I wish them many more years of success ahead!

This is a small place and has only street parking. But if you like tres leches cake “pastel tres leches”, you must give them a try. They have the best caramel, coconut and chocolate flavor tres leches cake in the Chicagoland area. This is primarily a husband and wife operation, and everything is made to order. If you have a large order, make sure you place your order 24 hours ahead of time over the phone or on line. They also have some breakfast and lunch sandwiches, alongside chilaquiles, burritos and quesadillas. I also recommend the Mayan hot chocolate, or Mexican hot chocolate. If you don’t like hot chocolate, they have coffee as well.

Being Mexican, I have always been embarrassed to admit I am not a fan of tres leches cake… and then one magical day I tried Kristoffer’s tres leches cake. Holy mother or cakes is their tres leches incomparable! I’ve introduced this cake to eveyone in my life. I’ve brought it to endless parties, gatherings and even got three for my wedding. If you want your tastebuds to enter a deep state of bliss, try their tres leches cake. My favorites are coconut, caramel, kahlua and chocolate (which is nearly all of them haha).
