Social Profile:

Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.

Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

Decided to try this chicken as I am a fan of Cajun spices. This chicken place is located within a chevron gas station. Parking is away from gas pumps. The website shows much more food than is displayed under heat lamps. Pretty much biscuits and chicken only. We purchased a 4 piece meal and blue berry biscuit. There is no inside seating and a couple of benches outside near the pump islands. Pricing is at market. We brought the food home close by. The pieces were a leg and thighs. Not all were coated with batter to get a crispy bite. The parts I tried with a good coating were crunchy, had a slight cajun flavor but were old having been under the heat lamps a very long time making the skin very tough. The chicken was not juicy as hoped. The blueberry biscuit was dry but did have a blueberry flavor. So far as the place of business. The clerk was hard to understand and he made no apologies for not having the product shown on the menu board. The store floor was dirty.
