Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

The operators seemed dedicated to good business practices and people were lining up in response. Suddenly they started hiring locals and the demeanor of the establishment went down just as quickly as the quality of the food.
I stopped going there about a year ago and I noticed they haven’t looked nearly as busy.
I decided to give the place another try and I walked inside. The chicken area had evidently already closed, and the clerk clearly annoyed by my presence, snarled when she realized she had to walk up to the counter from whatever she was cleaning. She asked what she could get me. It sounded like she was in a hurry, so I made my response loud and clear. “Brand xyz…100s”
“What kind of brand XYZ 100s?!?” she barked back.
I replied “the only kind of brand XYZ 100s on the shelf” I pointed behind her on the wall to help her out because she was obviously inexperienced with cigarettes, but she ignored me and says “you didn’t say long or short”
Yeah, that’s actually what a 100 is, but ok.
Some people are just loud and ignorant, but I truly feel that the look in her eyes was pure hatred. It was clear I was being provoked from the second I walked in, trying to spend my money at their establishment. I understand it’s hard to find willing workers, but this worker either hates work or potential customers that look like me. The original owners were great but they moved along and were replaced by people that simply don’t care. They could have made so much money in Newton but they sabotaged themselves with bad attitudes. I won’t even buy cigarettes there now.
