A pleasant surprise inside gas station corner of Dix and Moran, was a old A&W restaurant. Full dining room open in Krispy Krunchy Chicken , also Downriver Shawarma. Big clean dining room and restroom, tables booths or stools at counter. Got the 4 piece Cajun Chicken with Tater Wedges and Biscuit $10.99 . She had a double Chicken Shawarma with Mac n Cheese yummy . Large selection of sides hot n ready. Super low price specials on menu board. We definitely going back really soon . Wow! What a neat little chicken restaurant inside of a gas station, The place was clean and kept up.The chicken tenders and the red beans and rice was good, the jambalaya that I was given was definitely on the dry side as he was scooping from the bottom of the container to give me what was left. Overall The food had great flavor and would recommend giving this place a chance if you’ve never been here.

They have okra, it’s not “how granny used to make” but it’s pretty good, nobody ever has okra. I love this place. For the quality, which is almost perfect, the prices are very reasonable. Staff has always been cool.

First time going on a recommendation. Took the kids for lunch and I looked for about 1 minute at the menu, went to ask a question but was ignored. I was standing a mere 2 feet away from the young man that was just sitting on his phone as he ignored me. After staring at him he finally said “hello how can I help you?” I actually laughed at him bc the weirdness of it esp since he asked me this before he even looked up at me as he clicked off his phone. How about not playing on your phone in front of customers and ignoring them till you feel like working. So, I order a 3 piece mix of dark and white which was 1 wing, 1 drum and 1 thigh. Just 3 pieces of small chicken and no breast and no sides for $8. I also got 2 kids meals and all the food was old/ish esp the fries.
Needless to say I will not be back for ok chicken and poor service.
