I almost forgot to post my review on Krispy Kreme from a visit in July.
I’ve never been a donut person, but when I have eaten donuts, it has been Dunkin Donuts only because of the availability. Recently, I was part of a discussion (Dunkin Donuts vs Krispy Kreme) that I really couldn’t participate in because I had never had Krispy Kreme. I really didn’t understand what the big deal was until I tried it.
I went to the Krispy Kreme location by the Millenia Mall and all I can say it that I am now Team Krispy Kreme.

This place is amazing, I went to here in the late afternoon, around 6:00 p.m., I was drawn in by the fact that they had a Harry Potter special Donuts. A dozen for about $20. Approximately $1.60 a donut which is great considering the size of the donuts and the price of everything right now. I added a picture that I took in one from their promotion, they are just as delicious looking as they’re ad.
Going this late to a donut shop kind of sets a precident in your head that they might not be fresh and you’re getting the end of the day Donuts. Boy was I wrong, especially since I drove another 30 minutes home in traffic before I got a chance to enjoy them. They were delicious.
The staff was incredibly friendly, not a single person in there, did not have a smile on their face. When they went to grab the donuts you can see that they were taking their time to grab the best ones for you and if they saw one that they didn’t like, they would put it aside. The Establishment itself was incredibly clean and had families with kids wearing little Krispy Kreme hats which was adorable.
And I highly recommend the Harry Potter collection it is a delicious mix of all these different types of flavors that I will list in the bottom of this review. Overall everything was delicious, and I will definitely repeat probably more times than I should.
Harry Potter Collection:
Gryffindor™ Doughnut (cookie butter Kreme™ filling, Biscoff® crumble), a Slytherin™ Doughnut (chocolate and green buttercream swirls, chocolate cookie sugar), a Hufflepuff™ Doughnut (brown butter toffee custard filling, golden yellow icing, cookie crunch), and a Ravenclaw™ Doughnut (blueberry icing).

Not only was the inside unkept, but the service was horrible. We were there December 7th around 3 o’clock. The girl behind the counter, thin, young woman with a winter hat on, couldn’t have been worse. No smile and all bad attitude!! “What do you want”? Someone dropped off her lunch so she walked away from the counter and started dancing while walking back. Once she got back to the counter, she stood there and stared at us, then said again, “what do you want”? If you hate your job that much, when in customer service, leave & do something else. Besides that, the whole reason we stopped there was to buy the Peanut decorated donuts. We were going to surprise a friend with them. They looked like a 3 year old decorated them. They were truly poorly done. I would have been humiliated if I brought them to someone. We did purchase the brownie donut for my husband. Where’s the brownie flavor? He did say the donut was moist. What a disappointment this location was. Will never step foot in there again. Even the manager who came to the front when we were buying the donut looked angry. Shameful on the whole situation.

I’ve been here twice in the past month to buy donuts for my team. Despite large orders, the service has been fast, my order is correct, and the donuts are always delicious!
Today, Luis made my day by being super friendly, communicating clearly, and recommendeding I take advantage of an extra dozen at a huge discount!

These Donuts taste like someone dumped some Pine-Sol solution into the mix. Krispy Kreme used to be good Donuts now they make garbage. I’ll stick to dunkin’ Donuts. Thank you

I’ve never been so well attended at any other store as I was by Carol at the Millenia Blvd. location. She welcomes you with the most genuine, warm smile and treats you with so much kindness that you instantly feel appreciated. Her positive energy and love for what she does truly stand out.
This is what real customer service looks like. Carol is an absolute gem, and Krispy Kreme is lucky to have her!

After my visit, I walked away with the biggest smile on my face. The employees were wonderful, patient, and super friendly. I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, and he is a true reflection of his staff…helpful, kind, and funny, too. I don’t visit Krispy Kreme often, but I had such a memorable experience that I will be returning (sooner than later). Oh, and the donuts were amazing! Thank you all for making these birthday donuts special. My family enjoyed them!
