Reviews
I ordered three different dishes and all of them were top notch.
I would recommend for anyone who is craving South Indian Veg food.
I hope they will keep up the standard and quality.
The seating capacity is limited—approximately 10 families of four can be accommodated at a time. The restaurant owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
We particularly enjoyed the parotta and kurma (the kurma was outstanding), cauliflower pakoda, mushroom fried rice, street-style kaalan, and the dessert—Thirunelveli halwa. All these items are definitely worth trying for the price.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend this place, especially to vegetarian food lovers.
Service was great. We nearly came during closing time but still they happily treated. I appreciate that.
We have visited twice within a week that shows how much we loved it…
First visit we ordered Thali & Masala Dosa. Both the dishes were excellent.
Thali is unlimited but we were so full didn’t ask for anything extra… all the veggies were delicious, fresh & home made quality … we felt eating in grandma’s house all childhood memories came back while enjoying the food. Everything was exceptional whether it’s Rasam, Sambhar, cabbage, carrot & cabbage,Yellow Dal , Paneer, korma, Vada, rice with ghee, Puri , Rava Kesari (dessert) we were stuffed by the end…
Second visit we tried Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa & Idli Vada combo . Again everything was great from the Sambhar to all the various chutneys to the Idli , Vada & Dosa exceptional food quality.
We can understand the efforts put in by the staff & the chefs/ owners in their food taste & quality.
All the staff members ( mostly women ) are so friendly they keep on checking with everyone if u need anything extra like chutneys, or for the thali do you need anything more like veggies, dal, rice …
Restaurant is very clean & hygiene is very well maintained . Nice to see families enjoying the food with great music.
We really love coming back here can’t wait to try their other dishes..
Kudos to the owners , chef’s & all the staff for making this restaurant on of the neighborhood gems.
Opened very recently, by a duo with IT and culinary backgrounds and originally from Tamil Nadu & Bengaluru, who honed their skills in Utah , this place serves down to earth, homely and very authentic dishes as would be served by grandmothers in ancestral homes down South India.
There is no overload of spices nor of oils/ghee and even when Ghee is provided it was served separately which was completely authentic and true to taste and odor, reminiscent of home!
We ordered the Weekday Veg Thali and a Masala Dosa. Both were made fresh and served piping hot. The dosa is how exactly Dosas are supposed to be – tasty and crispy and all items in the Thali had us licking our spoons till the last bits was polished off!
The service was quick and efficient and ambience is of a typical South Indian restaurant , with ample booths and tables.
We are bound to revisit very very soon!

Another fabulous lunch @ Krishna Bhavan!
After ordering my favorite Masala Dosa we ordered the idli Vada combo and the Mysore Masala Dosa!
Both were made very true to the authentic recipes and their taste were flawless!
We also ordered Pav Bhaji as to go.
Will add its review later!
Service was super fast despite it being weekend lunch hour.
And was happy to hear the good words for the food from the customer and families enjoying lunch here!
Ambience remains clean, bright and airy!

Another great meal at Krishna Bhavan!
We had the Weekend Thali and the Masal Dosa Combo with a Idli and a Vada.
Both were very fresh and prepared with care !!
We will be back for repeats often!
We ordered roadside kalaan (mushroom), soya chops Manchurian dry, parotta with kuruma, podi thatte idly, tandoori roti, and velvet paneer. The roadside kalaan was outstanding—easily a highlight of the meal—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The soya Manchurian was equally delicious. The thatte idly was soft and flavorful; it initially came only with sambar, and we had to request coconut chutney. The sambar and coconut chutney were excellent, though the tomato chutney tasted a bit raw and lacked depth.
The parotta was flaky and cooked to perfection, but the kuruma had an unusual coconut flavor and could have used a bit more cooking time. The velvet paneer and tandoori roti were very good, rounding out the meal nicely. Overall, the food was well-balanced and not overly spicy, allowing the flavors to shine.
Since this is a new establishment, a few menu items were unavailable, which is understandable. With a little fine-tuning—especially to the kuruma and tomato chutney—and continued consistency, Krishna Bhavan has all the potential to become a standout spot and a future local landmark.
P.s. please keep forks and spoons on the table, as customers don’t have to keep on waiting for the utensils or ask the person waiting the tables.
One thing I truly appreciated is that they have a Jain menu and were very accommodating, which is not easy to find and means a lot.
We ordered several items:
• Gobi Pakora — hands down the BEST we’ve had at any restaurant. It was not oily, perfectly crisp, and lightly seasoned. TRY IT YOU WONT REGRET IT
• Dosas — not oily at all, and the masala was perfectly balanced, not overly spicy. The portion size is a little on the smaller side.
• Peanut Chutney — very nice and mild, paired well with the dosa.
• Coconut Chutney — had a slightly unusual taste, not very traditional, but still okay.
• Hakka Noodles — this didn’t taste like traditional Hakka noodles; it leaned more toward Indian–style noodles. It wasn’t bad at all, but it may be better to rebrand or relabel it. We did like the generous vegetables (bell peppers, cabbage, and green peas). It was just a bit too peppery.
• Vegetable Fried Rice — very mild and somewhat bland, with a strong pepper flavor.
• Jain Sambhar — good flavor, though a bit too thick in consistency. Could use more flavor and veggies.
The staff was very kind and patient, and they checked on us regularly throughout the meal to make sure everything was okay, which we really appreciated, especially for a new restaurant.
Overall, a peaceful place with thoughtful Jain options and lots of potential. We’re happy to support them and look forward to seeing how the menu continues to evolve. Give them a try, a nice loving family run business. Restaurants have become more about numbers which are important but here it felt like family and taking care of their customers.
Food was delicious and service was amazing.
Overall 5 stars.
The quantity was very less and not worth the price at all. On top of that, the naan was extremely bad — too thick, poorly cooked, and not enjoyable.
Overall, the taste, portion size, and value for money were all disappointing. I won’t be ordering again and would not recommend this place.
