First time eating here. The food was quite good. My table ordered a variety of dishes. The food was served hot and everybody was served at the same time. We ordered a combination of lamb and chicken dishes. The lamb was very tender and delicious. The prices were also in line with the quantity and quality of the food.

While the food was amazing the atmosphere was not very inviting. It is very bright and doesnt feel warm and inviting. It is a full service restaurant that has a fast food vibe. With that being said, The quality of the food will definitely have me coming back.

Wanted to try out the new Nepali and Indian restaurant since I believe there is a shortage of these restaurants in Lincoln compared to Omaha.

Must say it definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything from the garlic naan to the sauce to the shrimp biryani I really liked.

Be careful with the spicy level though because even though I gave a medium, it definitely felt considerably spicy.

All in all really great food, would be revisiting soon.

Recently made it over to the new Kripa. I had my Hopes set High for this one… Luckily they came through on nearly every level!

They were fairly busy but we were seated right away. Not ordering Every starter was hard but we decided on a few. I knew I wanted the Onion Pakoras. I’ve had my fair share of Pakoras in my day but these were Easily the best! Seasoned well and crispy, I can’t imagine the other varieties (chicken, shrimp, veggies) being any different. Next the Samosa Chat. Chopped up Samosas are the base layer, topped with Chutneys and Raita, etc. It looks like a hot mess but is Delicious! Think Indian Nachos…
Their open floor plan made it impossible to hide my Happy Food Dance and Yum Yum Sounds .

My husband Loves dumplings. Their Steamed Momo was exactly what he was looking for, tons of filling, Amazing sauce! We also got the Bread Basket so we didn’t have to choose from the various kinds of Naan. It comes with Original, Garlic, and Cheese. These are thinner and come with 2 Chutneys, Mint and Tamarind. Both full of flavor and soooo good!

For my Main Dish I chose Vegetable Mango Curry. I tend to gravitate to tropical flavors (coconut, pineapple, mango) in savory dishes. I got mine mild, cuz I’m a baby, and it may have been the lack of heat that made it just too sweet for me. I took it home to my kids and they absolutely Loved it!

I strongly suggested to my husband that he select a Thali for his main. Normally meant for more than one person it’s a great way to sample a bit of Everything! He went with the Mutton, also no surprise, with a spice level of Hot. Totally in his Element he combined This & That and was incredibly happy! We took an order of the dessert Gulab Juman to go. It’s little balls of dough soaked in syrup. Kids enjoyed them as well!

The place stayed busy both with patrons and take-out orders the entire time we were there. Several people helped us and checked on us. Food took a little while but we also ordered a Ridiculous amount. There are many more things on the menu we’d still like to try. While it won’t replace any of our other favorite places, it is a Fantastic addition to the Lincoln Food Scene and will be a frequent stop ❤️.

My girlfriend and I are HUGE Indian curry fans, and for years we’ve had to drive out of Lincoln to get truly outstanding curry. We’ve wished so badly that our own city would finally have a place that could compete with the best… and now we do!

This restaurant has some of the BEST curry we’ve ever had — anywhere. Perfectly balanced flavors, rich and fragrant sauces, and naan that was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy. Every bite had us smiling unbelievingly at each other.

The service was also fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and fast. You can tell they really care about making guests feel welcome.

If I could tweak anything, I’d love to see the atmosphere become a bit more cozy and cool vibe (also non-plastic plates would go a long way), and the payment machine starting tips at 20% feels a bit aggressive. But honestly, those are small details compared to how amazing the food and service were.

If you love Indian food — especially curry — this is an absolute must-visit in Lincoln. We’re so happy this place opened, and we’ll be back often!

My family comprised of a seven and a five year-old boy and my lovely wife sat down to a Saturday evening meal to a semi packed dining room. Believe we ordered three separate dishes and some fried shrimp. Our sons really enjoyed the fried shrimp and all the non-you can eat. We really enjoy eating food that can be spiced to your taste upon request. Talking to our waitress about Nepal and the differences in cuisine was rather enlightening.

It was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back.

As soon as I saw this place online, I wanted to try it. One of my favorite things is trying new foods and connecting to the cultures. When I was served my food and took my first bite, I was in heaven. I ordered the Nepali MoMo, it came with a delicious chutney and my server also brought me a coconut dipping sauce. I was so elated and happy with my food that I talked to the people next to me and told them that even though they were strangers, I would love them to experience this dish. And so food was shared over a common bond. I thanked my server after my meal and told him how happy my Heart was to have a place like this here in Lincoln., And to have been able to experience such wonderful cuisine. I will be back to try more of their menu items.

We ate at Kripa Indian & Nepali cuisine and let me tell you what folks, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!

The food was incredible and the staff was so friendly and helpful for a couple first timers. The garlic cheese naan bread is the best naan I’ve ever had, BY FAR! The Lamb Khaja Set was so tasty and super fun to eat once our server recommended that we just mix it all together and make a party of it. So many flavors! Also, the sauce of the Chicken Coconut Curry was so incredible, especially with the naan dipped in. Top tier enjoyment!

My only suggestion would be that they get softer lighting so that it’s a bit darker in there so nobody can see my stuffing my face like a wild animal next time.

Not pictured was the rice pudding dessert which was so refreshing after all that greatness. I’ve never had it prepared fresh and man was that good!

Had an amazing dinner last night at this newly opened Nepali and Indian cuisine restaurant in Lincoln! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staffs were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, and the service was prompt.

It’s exciting to have a place in town that brings the taste of Nepal and India together. A wonderful addition to Lincoln’s food scene.

We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend trying this place out!

I ordered the chicken vindaloo at Kripa and asked for it extra spicy. I was secretly hoping they’d sneak in a Bhut Jolokia pepper (a.k.a. Ghost Pepper of Doom) just so I could test the limits of my life insurance policy. Instead, it came out more “friendly kick” than “call the fire department.”

That said… it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, balanced, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Honestly, it was so good that I didn’t even mind that my taste buds survived the meal unscathed.

So if you’re looking for flavor packed Indian food in Lincoln, this is the spot. The portions are generous and the service was amazing. This was the first time I took my family here but we all agreed we were coming back.
