2024 – unfortunately, the stollen we have loved is horrible this year. The recipe is bad bad bad idea. Too sweet and too spicy and the flavor does not mix at all. SO SO SO sad …… bye bye … 2020 – What a treat✨ Husband LOVEs stollen, so we taste and hunt every year on holiday season. So happy to have it here; it’s just perfect!!! Also got the dark chocolate covered crispy rice and almond as a side dish So many on the menus to try … can’t wait to taste all high quality treats.

Chocolate elegance! There are so many variations of chocolate to choose from. I tried a sample of the pineapple coconut truffle and I was immediately in heaven. The texture was silky and the flavors were dancing in my mouth. A must for chocolate lovers!!

We’ve stopped in a few times over the last two years. It’s a ‘special occasion’ venue because of the prices, but there’s always something new to try, from the iced hot chocolate to the macaron ice cream sandwich to pear balsamic truffles. It’s mesmerizing to watch the hand-crafted production in the workshop. We appreciate that the dark chocolate speaks for itself and is never over-sweetened, particularly for the ice cream and hot chocolate. The chocolate chip cookies are luscious too.

So delicious chocolate at the heart of 42nd Street. I didn’t know there is a Two Michelin Star restaurant in that area and exquisite, delicious, mouthwatering chocolate next to it. I’ve tried the samples and this oh-so-good Chocolate Trifle Profiterole. Buy one. Have some. The flavor is balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. It’s just perfect. I love it! I told my friends about this spot. Well, you better check it out! Good quality chocolate that doesn’t hurt your pocket.

OH MY! Where in heavens did I just take a right turn and land in Wonderland. I am a die hard Neuhaus fan. However I have found an alternative that uses the thinnest layer of chocolate coating to encase the best flavors of what you can locate inside. All in the size of a small eraser or something that can delicately slip under your tongue. I was coming back from my fave little incense shop and chanced upon this place. Decadence in glass cases is my view. I wanted to stay there all day. If it weren’t for a dinner appt. I probably would have. My fave was probably the passionfruit one. The Dulce de Coco and Pina was a close 2nd. The Tahitian Vanilla was also heavenly. The mint was subtle and not synthetic. I can say that I bought 16 of them and have quietly consumed most but did choose to share with a few friends. They were VERY GOOD FRIENDS. I wouldn’t waste this on someone who thought Hersheys was amazing if you get my drift. I can picture this as part of a bridal shower or baby shower gift. The place is immaculate and the people behind the counter seem very in tune with the product. A total plus. Definitely worth the price take of approx. $3.50 per piece. You don’t need much, but you do need at least one. Enjoy!

Not exaggerating, but those are the worst chocolates I’ve had. Period. I tried every piece, and literally had to spit out most of them. A couple were edible but not great by any means. Not sure where all the 4 and 5 stars come from. Perhaps they have good macarons or other pastries? Anyway, what a waste. Literally ended up in the trash.

One of my favourite fine and handcrafted chocolate in NYC. Mild and mellow chocolate. Ineresting flavor choices. Good for chocolate lover. Other sweet treats like macaron and more also available.

Fell in love with the chocolates here. Very expensive but worth the decadent trip. The employees are very friendly. My only quibble would be the tip jar. When spending over a hundred dollars on chocolate, why the tip?

This is my favorite chocolate/dessert place in NYC. So far I tried their buche de noel, chocolate mousse cup, chocolate chip cookies, some cheesecake macaroons, and chocolate squares (wow I do love their things). All of their things were never disappointing – great for gifts as well (at least for me…)!!

All the treats here are amazing. I’ve tried a variety of different types and none have disappointed. The chocolate is very rich in each item and the best part is that nothing is overly sweet or too sugary. They also offer beverages here as well. This is my go-to place for chocolate and sweets in general. The only downside is that they are closed on Sundays.
