They have a limited, but excellent, draft beer selection, and a variety of wine choices as well as numerous cocktails, all of which they should post on their website.
The food is outstanding – some truly different selections, as well as many favorites.
The atmosphere is clean and simple.
The service is top notch!
A great place to go for good drinks, good food, and a good time

Looking for a local spot off the beaten path? We found this place and were very happy with our decision. We had the cheese curds appetizer, I had the swordfish, she had the grouper special, amd we shared the brownie dessert. All were fresh and flavorful. Our server was lovely. Could the place use some updates, sure, but that may be part of the charm.

Finally made it back there after a five year hiatus! Food, service were excellent. I miss the wall of old photographs as my mom and dad and their good friends Art and Cookie were on the bottom row. The picture definitely was taken in the 80s. Went out with some friends who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I hit the chicken florentine, phenomenal! I will be back when my friend comes down next month as she eats gluten-free, and there are numerous options on the menu!

Holy smokes is this place awesome! Fantastic and friendly wait staff, food was so fresh and delicious! Crab cake was homemade (when does that happen anymore??). Prices will shock you (in a good way!!). Cant recommend this easy going, welcoming old school restaurant. It has been in business since the 80’s and I can see why.

I just loved this place. It probably hasn’t changed in fifty years, and I think that’s great. The service was friendly, the food (clam chowder, seafood strudel and a massive Cobb Salad) was honestly superb, and the price was right. It’s a joy to find a place that serves real, well-made dishes without pretentious or gouging tactics. I’ll gladly pop in here for lunch when I’m in Marco Island

Kretch’s was founded in 1986 and it’s got an authentic local feel. Pictures inside are from that era, and it’s just a great place to be.

This was by far our best dinner on the island. Tuna bites were great. Burgers were great. Mushroom caps were great. Lobster-cargot (lobster served escargot style) was awesome. Mushroom caps were awesome. Everyone loved their food. It had a great family atmosphere, and our children were all welcome with children’s menus and plenty of crayons and extra coloring paper.

This was a great experience and we are so glad we found Kretch’s.

we both had the seafood strudel. it’s interesting and good. we were both looking for something a little different. their side dishes are also interesting. I had the baked sweet potatoes. I thought it was pretty good. I used a little of the cheese sauce from the strudel to set off the flavor. My wife had the carrots. she said that they were different but the orange and vinegar were a little overwhelming.

The atmosphere was better than the food. I walked in for lunch, was asked if “I’d be sitting to eat like a normal person because you people tend to be on the go”… not sure what that meant but I gave it the benefit of doubt… The chowder was watery and the strudel tasted like it had government cheese in it with no flavor from the seafood. I ate what I could because I was hungry but didn’t finish it. Let unsatisfied and with an uneasy stomach.
